Hive Party: A new way to see Hive
No More Talks: It's Time to Live Blockchain
Hive is an incredible ecosystem, with excellent technology and an engaged community (when they want to, lol). However, the challenge of mass adoption persists. How do we take Web3 out of the enthusiast circles and bring it to the general public? Meetups and conferences are essential for those who are already "in", but they rarely inspire curiosity in those who do not yet understand the potential of the technology.
I believe the answer lies in the experience. People connect with what they can feel, touch and experience. That's why I'd like to introduce Hive Party (@hiveparty): an event that goes far beyond a simple party, becoming a starting point for practical and fun adoption by people who have a different profile than the average Hive user.
For us, regular Hive users, we already have Hive Fest, and now it's time to create an event for future users.
The idea came about after commenting on a post by @acidyo, and both he and @starkerz and @coldbeetrootsoup encouraged me to take the idea to the next level.
An Immersion in Web3
Imagine a Sunday afternoon, probably October 19 (date yet to be confirmed), in a relaxed and vibrant environment, where good music meets technology in an organic way. The Hive Party will be a cultural celebration, with the goal of showing how blockchain can be integrated naturally and beneficially into everyday life, without technical terms or long tutorials.
What you will find and how Hive will be present:
Musical Attractions for All Tastes:
The event will start with a country singer, nothing more Brazilian than a Sunday afternoon with music and guitar.
Next, a pagode group to liven up the crowd even more. It won't be a Tardezinha com o Thiaguinho (a Brazilian pagode event with one of the biggest names in pagode), but there will be no shortage of good music.
To end the night and get the crowd going if they are starting to get tired, an electronic music DJ will take the stage, to make the crowd use up the last bit of energy they have.
This musical diversity ensures that the event attracts a wide and varied audience, who may never have had direct contact with Web3.
Blockchain in Action, Made Simple and Fun:
Consumption with KeyChain: We want to demystify the use of cryptocurrencies. At Hive Party, participants will be able to buy drinks and food directly using the KeyChain app. This will demonstrate, in a practical and frictionless way, the ease of transactions on Hive.
Instant Cashback with Distriator: For every purchase made with KeyChain, users will receive immediate cashback through Distriator. It is a tangible and instant reward that connects the use of Hive to a real benefit, encouraging repetition and understanding of the value of the network. (This is just my idea, I haven’t talked to anyone at Distriator yet)
Early and Advantageous Onboarding: To get the party started and drive adoption before the event, the first 30 users who create a Hive account and publish their first intro post (introducing themselves to the Hive community) during the party’s publicity period will receive a free VIP pass to the event. This is a fun and encouraging way to overcome the initial barrier to entry and build an engaged user base ahead of time.
Community and Real-Time Content: We will create a dedicated community on Hive where attendees will be encouraged to capture and share moments from the party and post Snaps during the event. This will not only generate authentic and organic content, but will also allow the Hive community to curate and reward these creators on the spot, demonstrating Hive’s real-time engagement and reward cycle.
Turning Curiosity into Connection
The great advantage of Hive Party is that it serves as a bridge between blockchain innovation and the general public. We are not asking people to "learn about blockchain", we are inviting them to a party where, without realizing it, they will be using and experiencing the benefits of the technology in an intuitive way.
A Strategic Investment for the Future of Hive
This initiative is designed as an investment, not a sponsorship (although yes, we would like and are open to sponsorship). The financial project aims, first and foremost, to break-even at least in the first event. This will allow future editions of Hive Party to become a vehicle for promoting Hive that, essentially, will not depend on new external contributions, becoming "free" for blockchain.
In a successful scenario, the additional profits will not only ensure the sustainability and continuity of the event series, but will also allow us to strengthen the Hive Party community account with Power Up, pay the organizers and, in the future, distribute dividends to investors, if this is the best way to return this investment to the network.
Next Steps
This post is the first step in presenting the vision and vast potential of Hive Party. In the coming weeks, I will delve into the practical details, such as: Detailed budget for the event, costs involved, ways and processes for those who can help, whether by creating something (artwork for the party, prints for t-shirts, mockups for giveaways) or by providing financial support.
My goal is to build this initiative with full transparency and community engagement.
I believe it is high time to bring Hive to a more diverse audience.

Para nós, usuários assíduos da Hive, já temos a Hive Fest, e chegou agora a hora de fazer um evento para os futuros usuários.
A ideia surgiu após comentar um post do @acidyo, e tanto ele quanto @starkerz e @coldbeetrootsoup me incentivarem a tirar a ideia do papel.

Imagine um domingo à tarde, provavelmente em 19 de outubro (data ainda será confirmada), em um ambiente descontraído e vibrante, onde a música boa encontra a tecnologia de forma orgânica. A Hive Party será uma celebração cultural, com o objetivo de mostrar como a blockchain pode ser integrada de maneira natural e benéfica no dia a dia, sem termos técnicos ou longos tutoriais.
O que você vai encontrar e como a Hive estará presente:

O início do evento contará com um cantor sertanejo, nada mais Brasil que um domingo a tarde com música e violão.
Em seguida, um grupo de pagode pra animar mais ainda o pessoal, não será uma Tardezinha com o Thiaguinho (evento de pagode brasileiro com um dos maiores nomes do pagode), mas música boa não irá faltar.
Para encerrar a noite e levantar a galera que já estiver começando a ficar cansada, um DJ de música eletrônica assumirá o palco, para fazer o pessoal gastar o último resquício de energia que tiverem.
Essa diversidade musical garante que o evento atraia um público amplo e variado, que talvez nunca tenha tido contato direto com a Web3.

Consumo com KeyChain: Queremos desmistificar o uso de criptomoedas. Na Hive Party, os participantes poderão comprar bebidas e alimentos utilizando diretamente o aplicativo KeyChain. Isso mostrará, de forma prática e sem atrito, a facilidade das transações na Hive.

O projeto financeiro visa, primeiramente, o break-even ao menos no primeiro evento. Pois permitirá que as edições futuras da Hive Party se tornem um veículo de divulgação da Hive que, essencialmente, não dependerá de novos aportes externos, tornando-se "gratuito" para a blockchain.
Em um cenário de sucesso, os lucros adicionais não só garantirão a sustentabilidade e a continuidade da série de eventos, mas também permitirão fortalecer a conta da comunidade Hive Party com Power Up, pagar os organizadores e, futuramente, distribuir dividendos aos investidores, se esse for o melhor modo de fazer esse investimento retornar para a rede.

Esta publicação é o primeiro passo para apresentar a visão e o vasto potencial da Hive Party. Nas próximas semanas, vou aprofundar nos detalhes práticos, tais quais: Orçamento detalhado do evento, custos envolvidos, as formas e o processo para a que possam ajudar seja criando algo (artes para a festa, estampa para camisetas, mockups para brindes) ou com aporte financeiro.
Meu objetivo é construir esta iniciativa com total transparência e engajamento da comunidade.
Acredito que já passamos da hora de trazer a Hive para um público mais diverso.
Parabéns pela proposta! A Hive Party poderia ser uma versão descentralizada e aberta da Hivefest, mais ou menos como o Tedx é em relação ao famoso evento Ted. Outra inspiração é o evento Pint of Science que está acontecendo em cidades brasileiras, onde, pelo que entendi, as palestras existem mas acontecem mais como um bata papo de botequim.
