He’s securing deals with 200 countries within the next two weeks (I guess, he’s counting the penguins a few times)
He’s going to do away with Income Tax because of the amount of money tariffs will make.

What matters is the biggest trading partners. Getting a better deal with someone the US has minimal trade with does nothing.
And as always, the lower classes pay for the upper classes.
Don't disagree with your first point on principle, and your second point is spot on.
However, what i wanted to point out is that Trump's two messages, what he claims is happening already or will happen are mutually exclusive.
IDGAF whether tariffs replace income tax revenue or not. Individual income tax needs to end.

There are times when I hope we will somehow find a peaceful and constructive way out of this mess we have been given as the political and economic status quo. Then there are times when I think the only way out is to just let the old system collapse under its own weight.
So higher corporate tax? I can live with that.
The megacorporations rely on taxes for direct and indirect subsidies though. Just let that dry up. No more protectionism. Watch them flounder. Much more entertaining.
Sadly I don't think we are going to go this way, considering that megacorps are friends with the current administration.
