Hello Hive

It should be a beautiful Monday for me and my needleworks here, even though the entire crypto market is crashing down and holders are panicking everywhere. Hope my ladies here aren't affected by the wave.
I realized that only a few women have adopted blockchain and cryptocurrency so far compared to the number of men in the space. Maybe we do have a few of my needleworkers who are experienced in crypto rather than the usual blog-to-earn and cash-out most people do.
It is good to learn about this new finance system, especially while being on the Hive blockchain, as it makes it even easier to learn and adopt crypto and all the opportunities it presents. Now, away from the draining portfolios, let's talk about Monica's new dress.

Can you spot me out here?
This was Sunday service yesterday, and we were lost in the heated praise session.
Just like I narrated before about how I joined the choir, the passion, fire, and zeal for service are here, but much, much more is the responsibility of remaining a chorister.

It comes with being regular for rehearsals, living a virtuous and exemplary life worthy of emulation, and obeying all the rules of the department regarding dressing and lifestyle.
Yesterday was another day to minister in church, and purchasing the uniform has remained the challenge holding me back for years.
I was able to manage and escape this week's uniform bills. Having purchased the fabric for $2, I also spent another $4 to get the accessories needed for sewing the choir uniform and the headgear.

To cut a bustier blouse is no longer a challenge for me, as I have done this several times. I started with my measurements on the fabric and cut out the front and back pieces.

Cut the linings also in a like manner and all the interfacing.
I proceeded to stitch the clothes.

Stitching this type of ball gown is often a challenge for me. Making pleats that must be uniform in size is the most Herculean task here.

Each time I often fight through this process, I have seen several YouTube videos that need to teach us how best to achieve this, but that has never worked for me. I made further progress with sewing the outfit.

Then the sleeves were next, with their own unique gathers and an elastic at the hemming.

That was completed, and next I moved to sewing the linings to the outfit, turning in the seam allowances before the final step of sewing the zipper to the outfit.

Then it was time to sample out my dress and see. To be honest, I didn't get the pleatings correctly, but I was lucky to have a seamstress friend around too. After making a jest of me, she unstitched the lower part of my dress and helped me resew this. That gave me a better lower part, and it was time to go slaying in my new dress.

Everybody came out pretty
in their uniforms, and that is the beauty of choir. The media did more justice to this by giving us some nice shots while we were singing.

It was a successful Sunday ministration and I was happy to play a key role.
