HIVE GAMING-Winter burrow- review. [ES/EN]

El festival de demos en steam es un gran evento para poder probar juegos, siempre me entero tarde, ya que actualmente no estoy jugando tanto, pero en la última ocasión de el festival de demos pude probar algunos juegos, para quienes somos fans del género de supervivencia y los juegos cozy este juego lo es todo.

Si son mayores a 30 años seguro recuerden la historia del pequeño ratoncito fievel, se trata de una pequeña familia de ratones que busca una mejor vida en la gran ciudad, el argumento de este juego me recordó a esa película, y por cosas que no voy a contarles es similar si conocen la obra mencionada.

The Steam Demo Festival is a great event to try out games. I always find out about it late, since I'm not playing that much these days, but at the last Demo Festival I was able to try a few games. For those of us who are fans of the survival genre and cozy games, this game is everything.

If you're over 30, you probably remember the story of Fievel the Little Mouse. It's about a small family of mice looking for a better life in the big city. The plot of this game reminded me of that movie, and for reasons I won't spoil, it's similar if you're familiar with the film.

In this case, our little friend returns home after a long trip only to find that things are not the same as before.

El juego destaca por dos cosas que le parecen básicas pero acertadas, es agradable de ver, con un estilo de comic, similar a titulos como don't starve, y una paleta de colores que nos llevan en un viaje de nostalgia y descubrimiento, la casa de su infancia que lo vio crecer y que tantos recuerdos guarda debe ser restaurada.

The game stands out for two things that seem basic but successful: it's visually appealing, with a comic book style similar to titles like Don't Starve, and a color palette that takes us on a journey of nostalgia and discovery; the house of his childhood that saw him grow up and holds so many memories must be restored.

En este juego necesitamos comer, dormir, no tener frio, luchar y conseguir recursos, bien básico en una supervivencia, en la demo podremos explorar un poco de eso.

Pero hay bastante crafteo, podremos tejer para hacernos ropa adecuada, refinar recursos para ir arreglando y creando muebles en el hogar y cocinar.

In this game, we need to eat, sleep, stay warm, fight, and gather resources—basic survival skills. The demo lets us explore some of that.

But there's also plenty of crafting. We can weave to make suitable clothing, refine resources to repair and create furniture for our homes, and cook.

La comida importa no solo porque es una forma de recuperar la barra de hambre, es salud y mantenernos calentitos, sino al salir a la nieve el frio será mucho mayor.

Food matters not only because it's a way to replenish your hunger bar, it's healthy and keeps us warm, but also because when we go out into the snow the cold will be much greater.

Nuestro banco de trabajo funciona para todo lo que necesitamos hacer en el juego al inicio, como es una demo hay bastante de este mundo que descubrir.

Our workbench works for everything we need to do in the game at the beginning; as it's a demo, there's quite a lot of this world to discover.

Es necesario dormir, lo cual me parece justo, porque al caer la noche el frío es mucho más intenso y casi no se puede salir, al estar mucho tiempo en el frío la pantalla se congela, y nuestro pequeño amigo empieza a tiritar.

It's necessary to sleep, which seems fair to me, because when night falls the cold is much more intense and you can hardly go out; being in the cold for a long time the screen freezes, and our little friend starts to shiver.

Cocinar es muy fácil solo hay que tener los ingredientes y tocar en la receta, vamos a ir encontrando por el mapa cosas que servirán de comida, pero también hay árboles y pequeñas plantas que nos dan cosas que se pueden cocinar, la carne al igual que en don't starve sale de los monstros, que en este caso son unos bichos que mataremos con nuestra hacha.

Cooking is very easy, you just need the ingredients and tap on the recipe. We'll find things around the map that can be used as food, but there are also trees and small plants that give us things that can be cooked. The meat, just like in Don't Starve, comes from monsters, which in this case are creatures that we will kill with our axe.

El mapa es bastante grande y a mí se me hizo muy fácil perderme jajaja porque no hay un indicador de ningún tipo que nos diga para donde estamos caminando o algo, así que la intuición es clave para este juego o vas a dar muchas vueltas por ahí, como me pasó.

The map is quite large and it was very easy for me to get lost hahaha because there's no indicator of any kind to tell you where you're walking or anything, so intuition is key for this game or you're going to wander around a lot, like what happened to me.

Actualmente salió para consolas y pc, con un precio que no esta tan mal, a unos 10 dólares, quizás en mis compras navideñas este este juego. Es bastante relajado para pasar el rato, no es una supervivencia muy desafiante a mi parecer, pero es entretenido, quizás sea porque su enfoque es de amplió público, actualmente cuenta con reseñas muy positivas en steam, así que esta aventura parece ser bien recibida, al menos a mí me gusto bastante de lo que ví.

It's currently out for consoles and PC, and the price isn't too bad at around $10. I might add it to my Christmas shopping list. It's quite relaxing and a great way to pass the time. It's not a very challenging survival game in my opinion, but it's entertaining. Perhaps that's because it has a broad appeal. It currently has very positive reviews on Steam, so this adventure seems to be well-received. At least, I liked what I saw of it.
