RE: Late June Garden Report (Mostly Flowers)

in HiveGarden19 days ago

Lovely garden! What do you call that plant with fiery yellow and orange flowers? The flowers look vibrant and shining. I think it will be a good addition to my front yard next to my caladiums.

I'm rooting for the sprouting dills. I hope they make it. I didn't know that there is a flower that can be made into pickles, amazing! I'm curious. Thanks for sharing! 💚

I plan to pickle cucumbers, but those plants didn't make it into this post. Sorry! The dill is, indeed, coming up. Yay!
The bright orange/yellow flower is called bidens. I hadn't heard of it before, either. But I loved the colors, so I bought some.

Bidens are very beautiful! I love it! Pickled Cucumbers are common but for pickled dills, it's my first time to hear about it. I hope you can show us a finish pickled dill next time.

I think we are having a "language barrier" issue here. I use dill as an ingredient when making dill cucumber pickles. So yes, the dill gets pickled, but it's just an ingredient, not the main feature. Does that make sense?

I got it, thanks for clarifying. 😊
