Hello everyone! For today's prompt, ONION, I couldn't resist going for the most obvious idea.
In this drawing, I wanted to capture the pure drama of the kitchen. Here we have our poor, emotional onion, crying buckets. Tears are falling all over, and the floor is even soaked with its sorrow. The expression on its "face" with its mouth wide open in an unheard scream and those eyes pouring out tears I think perfectly conveys what we feel and what our eyes do every time we face it on the cutting board.
I had a lot of fun giving personality to something so mundane. It's the representation of that inevitable moment in the kitchen where the onion makes us shed a few tears. The texture of its layers and the drops of crying, along with the shading, give it the dramatic touch I was looking for.

Hola a todos Para el prompt de hoy, ONION (Cebolla), no pude resistirme a irme por lo más obvio.
En este dibujo, quise capturar el drama puro de la cocina. Aquí tenemos a nuestra pobre y emotiva cebolla, llorando a mares, Las lágrimas le caen por todos lados y hasta el suelo se empapa con su pena. La expresión de su "cara" con la boca bien abierta en un grito que nadie escucha y esos ojos derramando lágrimas, creo que transmite perfectamente lo que sentimos y hacen nuestros ojos cada vez que nos enfrentamos a ella en la tabla de cortar.
Me divertí mucho dándole personalidad a algo tan cotidiano. Es la representación de ese momento inevitable en la cocina, donde la cebolla nos hace soltar unas cuantas lágrimas. La textura de sus capas y las gotas de llanto con los sombreados le dan ese toque dramático que buscaba.
Espero que esta cebolla dramática les saque una sonrisa (o una lágrima de empatía)
Ahh me encanta! en definitiva captura el momento en el que nos hace llorar y me da risa que ahora sea la cebolla llorando. 😂
