Good evening, blog friends, here I am again, taking you on a walk with me. Today, despite it being a bit chilly, my husband and I decided to go out, take the car, and go for a walk. This time, we chose San Felice as our destination, a small village not far from mine, located on the main road and with many small, colorful houses, various narrow streets, and overlooking the Ombrone River, which runs through the valley all the way to Pistoia. We had already seen San Felice, but not all of it, because we discovered that it's not as small as we thought. It has many hamlets and a very beautiful side across the river. We decided to visit a place that was recommended to us for hikers: the San Felice Bridge. It's a small iron bridge, probably a bit old judging by its very simple and sturdy architecture. It serves to cross the banks of the Ombrone. It's a small, open bridge from which you can see both banks and the river.

Buenas noches, amigos del blog, aquí estoy de nuevo, llevándolos de paseo. Hoy, a pesar de que hacía un poco de frío, mi esposo y yo decidimos salir, coger el coche y dar un paseo. Esta vez, elegimos San Felice como destino, un pequeño pueblo no muy lejos del mío, situado en la carretera principal, con muchas casitas de colores, varias calles estrechas y vistas al río Ombrone, que recorre el valle hasta Pistoia. Ya habíamos visto San Felice, pero no todo, porque descubrimos que no es tan pequeño como pensábamos. Tiene muchos pueblos y una orilla preciosa al otro lado del río. Decidimos visitar un lugar que nos recomendaron para senderistas: el Puente de San Felice. Es un pequeño puente de hierro, probablemente un poco antiguo a juzgar por su arquitectura sencilla y robusta. Sirve para cruzar las orillas del Ombrone. Es un pequeño puente abierto desde el que se pueden ver ambas orillas y el río.

The bridge isn't very well maintained, but the structure is sturdy, and we realized it's popular, especially with dog owners. We met several dog owners on our walk. After crossing the bridge, we strolled along both banks, a truly beautiful place with long, clean, green banks and paths suitable for all walkers. It's also lovely to see the town in the background across the river, with its classic colorful houses, roofs, and chimneys. And, of course, the mountains surrounding the valley. In the distance, we also saw one of the historic villas of San Felice, which, however, is private and unfortunately not open to visitors. The banks are quite safe, and it's a delightful place for long nature walks while admiring the river, which, fortunately, wasn't as rough as it was during the rains. It was lovely to discover new places not far from us; it always reminds me of how rich in beauty my region and area are.

El puente no está muy bien mantenido, pero la estructura es robusta y nos dimos cuenta de que es popular, sobre todo entre los dueños de perros. Nos encontramos con varios dueños de perros durante nuestro paseo. Tras cruzar el puente, paseamos por ambas orillas, un lugar realmente precioso con largas orillas verdes y senderos aptos para todo tipo de caminantes. También es precioso ver el pueblo al fondo, al otro lado del río, con sus clásicas casas de colores, tejados y chimeneas. Y, por supuesto, las montañas que rodean el valle. A lo lejos, también vimos una de las históricas villas de San Felice, que, sin embargo, es privada y, por desgracia, no está abierta al público. Las orillas son bastante seguras y es un lugar encantador para dar largos paseos por la naturaleza mientras admiramos el río, que, afortunadamente, no estaba tan agitado como durante las lluvias. Fue un placer descubrir nuevos lugares cerca de nosotros; siempre me recuerda la riqueza de belleza de mi región y mi zona.
