My current investing approach (2025.06.06)

There are no transaction fees on the Hive blockchain, so it is easily possible to buy and transfer very small amounts of Hive Dollars (HBD) to savings.

For example today I transferred $0.21 HBD to savings.

And if this is regularly, consistently done, then it actually matters and helps building the passive income for long term.

At least with small amounts of savings, for example around $1400 HBD.

Mainly because the compound interest.

Even a price of a bread matters in long term with a beginner investment.

Especially if someone's goal is to get out of deep poverty. Like me.

Nowadays I build my Hive Dollars (HBD) savings however I can. Even cents by cents, if needed.

As for other blockchains and other exchanges (for example buying Hive), often there are high transaction fees.

In the previous few months I often bought around $30 USD worth of Hive in one day, and the same again after a few days.

But probably it is better to buy a little bit higher amounts (for example at least $50 USD or more), and less frequently to save in transaction fees in long term.

So I am trying to minimize the expenses, and maximize the amounts I transfer to savings.

10 years ago I did not even know what investing is, even if I already knew about cryptocurrencies.

In the recent past I learned that the actual wealth is not really a number, but rather a mindset, a way of thinking, a (part of the) lifestyle.

I try to make good financial decisions to actually be able to build passive income for long term (for years, for decades), and currently I think that this is a good approach, and that these are good thoughts.
