Hello lovelies, how was your Easter holidays, I hope you enjoyed it and took some time out to rest while also celebrating.

I've been on my driving tutorials, and it's been such a fascinating learning curve for me. I'm learning to be observant of my environment, as that's key to driving and also understanding your terrain and all.

That one neighbor
Everyone has that one neighbor, the noisy one, the mysterious one, the overly friendly one, or the one who knows a little too much.

Growing up in my family house over the years, we had neighbors, but we didn't really relate so much with them, so when I got around to living on my own, I also took that nature of minding my business along with me.

When I initially moved into my present apartment, I was always keeping to myself, I didn't really associate with people more than necessary.

I have this next-door neighbor, she's a very sweet person, we are cool, our conversations are minimal. All we used do was exchange greetings whenever we bump into each other. There is another neighbor I have that's a darling, he is one of the nicest and most selfless persons I have met.

Recently, we had an issue with power, we didn't have any form of power supply and we couldn't pump water for days. We had all resorted to finding alternative means of getting water, but before we knew what was happening he had gone to find a way to get a generator that we could use for pumping the water. I was so happy because the whole lack of water issue was already wearing me out, as it is usually a hassle getting water to use especially when you don't have some water reserved for a times such as this.

Whenever I have an issue, this particular neighbor is the one I run to, because he always has a solution to the issue. Even if he doesn't have a solution, he is willing to give his time, money, or any other thing he can support with and to ensure that the problem is handled.

Another incident I remember is when I and my next-door neighbor had some issues with our electrical wiring, it started as something minor, but it would spark at intervals. We complained about it to our landlord, but he wasn't willing to do anything about it and kept saying that he would call an electrician to come check it out.

One fateful day, the changeover just started sparking and then got burnt, I was alone at that time, so I immediately ran to him to come help salvage the situation. When he came, he was so disgusted with the whole situation because this could have been avoided. He was able to find a way to remove the wire that was burning.

He immediately called an electrician he knew to come check out the situation, upon the electrician's arrival, he detected the problem and told us how to solve it. My wonderful neighbor asked for the total cost and offered to cover it even when he wasn't affected by that particular connection.

I was overwhelmed by his action and I immediately told him not to worry, but he insisted that it was fine. When I later asked him why he did that, he said he didn't just like seeing people suffer from things that can easily be handled, I thanked him profusely, because at that particular time I wasn't really having enough cash, so I prayed to God that the bill would not cost so much, but I didn't know God had other plans for me.

So yeah, these are some of the ways my neighbor has come through for me. When others complain about having shitty or nosy neighbors, I can't relate, because mine has been nothing short of amazing.
