Good afternoon my friends, my partners in comfort and chaos. Today's episode of my daily life is proudly sponsored by “Žuljevi look” –> the ultimate autumn combo for every Balkan girl who refuses to suffer in silence. :) Last night in Belgrade, while I was going home, was a bit windy, crowded and of course all public transport changed routes exactly when I needed them not to do that. After walking a few kilometers like I'm in some survival TV show, my cute black leather boots decided to betrayed me. My feet were basically screaming by the time I got home, auuch.
So my today's look is a hundred percent SLAV LIFE. Light blue wide jeans, fake Adidas slippers, gray socks and my old-school Adidas jacket (actually from my high school xD). I look like I'm about to either take out the trash or drop a 2000s Balkan rap album. The slippers aren't just a fashion choice, they're pure therapy along with blisters.

After my super glamorous backyard morning walk, the main event of the day started: foooood, of course! My sister went full chef mode. Pork meat with potatoes, carrots and onions and garlic, everything slowly simmering until it caramelized perfectly and started sticking to your fingers... pure joy. She also made her own sauce, something between tzatziki and tartar and it was unreal how it tasted good with all other food.

Then, you will probably laugh at me now, then came my brave moment of the day. I opened an online bank account. And not just that, it had to be verified over video call with their agent. I know it sounds easy, but for me, that is like level 100 anxiety quest. I was sweating like crazy while that guy was checking my ID informations. And my mind were in total chaos. "Oh no, oh sh*t, run, RUN". I was trying not to blink too much, not to look so serious or suspicious or like some funny cartoon character. But I did it, YEAAH. And that was enough social contact for today. Don't ya think so? Except this, blogging here with you guys is so nice, I could write my silly little stories all day long.
We own a small market store in our village and lately I've noticed more and more Russian sweets showing up from suppliers. For years, foreign candies to out part of Serbia were mostly coming from Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria... but now Russia is almost half of that. I just saw there a new ШОКОЛАД with the cutest purple wrapper ever. So artsy, so perfectly Slav aesthetic. 😍 Didn't even taste it yet, just took a picture because it looked too good, absolutely perfect for this slav blog I'm writting to you now. I immediately imagine Eastern European film scene where everyone's wearing long furry coats and laugh a lot while drinking shots of vodka.

What's up with you, friends? Did you face your own "video verification" moment today or this week? Something that pushed you out of your cozy bubble a little, like today happend to me? Or you are one of those lucky guys who just lives life chill and calm, no overthinking at all? If yes, congrats, I'm jealous of you! Kidding, I am happy for you! <3
Yours truly, Adidas anxious girl. :)

Oh dear! Are Russian products still quite popular in Serbia nowadays? Do you think they will sell well?
Next time you must take part in my Hive PPP Index, but not sure when I'm going to do V3.
Hey, well ever since all that chaos in the world started, a lot of Russians have moved here, so I guess that's why their products are becoming more common now then before. We also have some big low-cost Russian markets now like in every bigger town... They are selling both their goods and ours, and many middle-income people shop there quite often. And those chocolate sweets actually tastes realy nice. 😍
Sureee, of course! I just look at it and it seems realy interesting. 🤗

That kind of looks like a Milka chocolate bar ...
Hihii, yeas, it's quite same purple shade. We also have Milka in like every posible flavor you can imagine and they usually take up half the shelves in most stores, together with our local brand "Najlepše želje". All the other chocolates come in smaller amounts after those two. 😀
