
Bakwan is a very popular fried food in Indonesia. Besides fried bananas, fried tempeh, and tofu, bakwan is also a favorite among fried food lovers. Hehe, that's the term in Indonesia. Life isn't enjoyable without fried food. Even though we all know fried food is unhealthy if consumed continuously, we can't live without it.

And since it's raining heavily in my area today, I'm very hungry. What's more, I'm thinking about this delicious fried food. Without further ado, I looked in my fridge and saw that there were only potatoes, carrots, and sweet potatoes. So, the idea came to me to make fried food with a mixture of these ingredients.
I'll just make some fritters using the ingredients I have at home, and going out to buy them is no longer possible due to the heavy rain.
Frytters are usually made with bean sprouts, carrots, and cabbage, but I happen to not have any of those vegetables at home. But that's okay, fritters made with other vegetables are also delicious, like the ones I used here.

In the past, I made fried food from sweet potatoes alone, but this time I will make fried food with a mixture of other ingredients. Making use of leftover vegetables at home is my daily habit. I am very happy to be able to make a dish with ingredients that are at home.

Materials used

1 potato
1 sweet potato
100 grams of flour
1 tablespoon margarine
3 shallots
1 clove of garlic
A pinch of turmeric
1/4 teaspoon coriander
Salt
Mushroom broth
Manufacturing procedure
first I peeled the onion skin, then I cut it into small pieces, and I blended it until the spices were smooth, I also blended the turmeric and coriander

I started peeling the skin of carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes, then I washed them clean and then I cut them into small, long pieces like matchsticks.

Then I took the margarine and put it into the flour, then I stirred it until the margarine and flour were evenly mixed, and I moved it to a larger container to make it easier to stir, then I put in the chopped vegetables, and I also put in the spices that had been mashed earlier.

add a little water and I stir it until it is evenly mixed, don't forget I also add salt and mushroom stock, then I fry it until cooked

RESULTS

The potato and carrot vegetable fritters are ready. Using the vegetables at home to make a delicious snack like this is something I often do at home when I want a snack and am too lazy to leave the house.

As usual, I dip the fried food in a slightly spicy chili sauce and if you want to make it spicier, you can add more cayenne pepper, hehe, but for me, just dip it in the sauce.
The taste is really delicious and very crunchy, it's really suitable as a snack when it's raining like this,
