Is Praying Enough to get us closer to God?....Topic Review

A very profound teachings about prayers and faith, you see this has always been the case with Christianity, we believe so strongly, we pray fervently, we do everything but do not have faith enough to back up what we have prayed about.

I tell my friends that the reason why it looks as if Christianity pf these days is a mocking thing or that Christians now behave like mediocre makes it look as if we are not serious or that we don't know what to do, ...

***it is not sufficient enough to just pray, but also take a step further to act on what you have prayed, when we pray we believe that God will answer us, but then we wait patently for the manifestations of these prayers, meanwhile as we wait God will be prompting our hearts to certain things on what to do to make that our prayers a reality but you see most of us do not decerned when God is speaking to us.

you see prayer is a two way communication system, most believes just pray and believe trusting God to answer but when God does answer us we do not decern enough to know when the Answers arrive....

I love the example Brother Eli gave, if you're trusting God for a house, a house will not just fall down from heaven but rather God will prompt your heart on what to do, maybe get a job or a skilled you're good at then favour will come upon what you do and God will bless the works of your hands from there the wisdom of saving up and building house after words will come to you that way God jas answered your prayers....

so this is the analogy

PRAY, BELIEVE, THEN ACT, cause the Bible says Faith without works is dead, don't just have faith Attach works to it

Sort:

Praying with faith and wor

We also need to add faith and action to it
