HiveFest 2025 is happening, and we’re back with a tropical twist in Kuala Lumpur. Tickets are now officially available via hivefe.st/#tickets and this year, we're going full Hive-native with instant, mobile-friendly ticketing for both Hive and HBD payments. No forms, no delays, just blockchain magic.

🌟 What Does a Ticket Get You?
HiveFest isn’t your average sit-and-snooze conference. It's a five-day community experience in one of Asia's most vibrant cities. Here’s what your ticket includes:
🍹 Opening drinks - With an open bar to kick off the week.
🏩 Two days of full conference access at two historic venues, with breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks included.
🛍 Weekend city adventures and Sunday outings to explore KL and surroundings with fellow Hivers.
🍸 Closing drinks - Another open bar moment to wrap things up.
🎭 Entertainment throughout the program.
🎤 Access to all speaker sessions and community events.
📱 Entry to the HiveFest app with real-time updates and networking tools.
🎒 A welcome bag with exclusive HiveFest 2025 swag.
We want you to thrive during HiveFest, not just attend it. Everything is set up to make your experience smooth, connected, and unforgettable.
💸 Ticket Pricing: Hive First, Best Price thanks to community partners.
Thanks to generous support from the Hive DAO (via ValuePlan) and our amazing community sponsors, the base ticket cost is just 1,500 MYR – covering full catering, venues, transport, swag, and more.
If you pay using Hive or HBD, you get access to this community-sponsored best rate.
Fiat payments are also accepted, but they don’t benefit from this discounted price.
💡 Heads-up: Hive/HBD payments include a small 7% processing fee to cover blockchain conversions and platform costs. Even with this, Hive/HBD is still the cheapest option. (Discounted tickets due to sponsorship and the Fiat also adds 5% credit card costs)
Instant Hive/HBD Checkout: Buying your ticket with Hive or HBD is now a fully automated, instant process. No waiting around – just authorize the blockchain payment and boom, your ticket is issued on the spot (with on-chain magic in the background) .
Mobile Wallet Tickets: Once you pay, you’ll receive a mobile-friendly ticket that you can load into your Apple or Google Wallet on iOS/Android. Flash it on your phone at the event for quick entry. (Prefer something tangible? Don’t worry – a fallback PDF ticket is available for printing or backup.)
Want to give back? If you’re a whale, you can choose to donate a bit extra during checkout so that someone else can attend at a reduced rate. By default, all tickets are GA. It’s up to you to go the extra mile and help a plankton out.

👍 Supported by Our Community Partners
HiveFest would not be possible without support from our ecosystem. This year’s community partners include:
🫶 Supported by Our Community Partners
No HiveFest would happen without the support of our community partners. These sponsors not only contribute to making the event possible (and ticket prices affordable), but they also represent some of the most vibrant projects and communities within the Hive ecosystem. This year’s partner roster is truly a Hive who’s who:
Hive
The core of it all! Hive is the decentralized blockchain and Web3 ecosystem that we call home. Fast, feeless, and community-driven, Hive is both our platform and our primary sponsor. It’s thanks to Hive’s DAO (via the Value Plan proposal) that HiveFest’s fixed costs are largely covered, allowing community events like this to thrive. In short, Hive is us — the reason we can even have a HiveFest.VSC (Virtual Smart Chain)
VSC Network (vsc.eco) is bringing Ethereum-like smart contracts and cross-chain interoperability to Hive. Think of VSC as Hive’s experimental sidekick chain, enabling new decentralized apps and DeFi possibilities. By sponsoring HiveFest, VSC underscores its commitment to the Hive community, showing how Layer-2 innovation and the Hive core community go hand in hand.Actifit
It pays to be fit! Actifit (actifit.io) is a popular move-to-earn fitness dApp on Hive that rewards you for staying active. Thousands of Hivers use Actifit to track their steps and workouts, earning AFIT tokens (and sometimes HIVE) for their healthy habits. As a community partner, Actifit embodies the fun, positive-sum culture of Hive. Don’t be surprised if you see some Actifitters organizing a morning jog or workout session during HiveFest.BlockTrades
A long-time pillar of the Hive economy, BlockTrades (blocktrades.us) is a major developer contributor to Hive’s core codebase. They’ve been instrumental in Hive’s development and provide crucial liquidity and fiat on/off ramps for HIVE and HBD in the past via the former exchange. By sponsoring HiveFest, BlockTrades continues to support the community it helped foster.Creative Work Hour
A grassroots Hive community project, Creative Work Hour (creativeworkhour.com) is all about sparking creativity. This on-and-off-chain community, founded by @alessandrawhite, holds regular virtual meetups where Hivers co-work on creative tasks — writing, art, music, you name it. Their motto is expanding your capacity to create content, and they’ve become a springboard for collaborative projects across Hive.Ecency
One of Hive’s premier front-end platforms, Ecency (ecency.com) offers a smooth interface for Hive on web and mobile. It’s known for its friendly user experience and innovative points reward system that encourages engagement. Ecency has helped onboard countless new users to Hive. Don’t forget to say hello to their team at the event — they often come bearing swag.SkyTeam
HiveFest goes global, and SkyTeam (yes, the airline alliance!) is our official travel partner again. This is the fourth time we’ve partnered with their global network to help Hivians fly in from all over. They’re offering up to 15% flight discounts for HiveFest attendees across 19 member airlines, covering more than 1,000 destinations. Use promo code 5121S when booking to save. SkyTeam’s support makes that journey to Kuala Lumpur a bit easier on the wallet.Worldmappin
Born from the beloved Pinmapple project, Worldmappin (worldmappin.com) is a Hive-powered travel map initiative led by @detlev. It allows bloggers to pin their Hive posts on a world map, helping travelers and creators visualize and share their journeys. As a sponsor, it’s literally putting HiveFest on the map.
Big thanks to all our community sponsors for investing in HiveFest and the Hive community. Their support not only subsidizes our tickets and events, but also showcases the rich ecosystem that has blossomed on Hive. From blockchain projects to fitness apps, developers to creative communities, it truly takes a global village to make HiveFest happen.
Their support helps us keep prices as low as possible while keeping the experience high-quality. Thanks to them, HiveFest remains accessible and epic!

See you in KL! or at Hive Summit in Aachen!
So freaking exciting!!! Another songbird told me @katyperry & red fish / recent PhD grad, @wailing.fong, Malaysian of CWH, may swing by to party hard with us in the equatorial tropics!
Could happen! 😜
There’s plenty of room for more songbirds under the jungle canopy! 🦜 But what about the guitarists and drummers? Will there be room to plug in our amps and set up @steevc ‘s kit in the canopy? Is there like a treehouse up there somewhere we could use? 🎸🥁
I'm not sure if I am going, but I'm sure it will be great.
Make it happen buddy :)
I've got other travel planned and am avoiding long flights. I'll try to get to something in Europe some time.
I remembered! Jane’s name in Tarzan is Jane Porter, who like me, frets the humidity of the tropics!
I'm assuming that @katyperry isn't the same one who was seen about town with Trudeau yesterday. OHH a CWH meetup at HiveFest
You crack me up when I least expect it. Comedic timing is everything!!! 🤣
looks like i won't be able to join you but , make sure to have fun !
!BBH
!HUG
So, you’ll cover the Hive Summit with @detlev and I’ll cover @HiveFest with @detlev? Is that the idea? Busy guy, he gets around!
I'll be in Aachen, have al arangements made so far including the environment sticker on the car that you need in Aachen .
Go @wailing.fong That would be cool. I wish I could attend one of the HiveFests, one day it WILL happen. I do look forward to reading the posts and seeing the videos on @3speak and such
Wouldnt that be rockin’ amazing?
What a wonderful event you're organizing. I've only been on Hive for a short time and can't possibly opt for something like this, but it makes me happy to discover these opportunities.
See all y’all at HIVE.10 !
Attempting a hive fest is my biggest dream but unfortunately this year too my dream will remain dream 😔 excited to know more about Hive fest via my fellows hivers who gonna attempt the Hive Fest this time...
Hmm I'm not sure if i got a ticket already, how do i know if i got one?
If you have purchased it through Hivefe.st or the linked Ticket2u site, you ahve one. A registration on Lu.ma is for a side event!
Thanks roelandp
Hmm I'm not sure if i had purchased the ticket since i booked everything at the beginning of the year.
Plus i then bored a euro trip so hence the mind blank, apologies.
Was there am email confirmation for the purchase of said ticket from hivefest?
It would cost me about 3x the total value of my HIVE account to attend. I won't be there, but have fun, everyone :)
If I only had 1500 euro 😒 Missing yet another Hivefest 😭
Regular ticket costs 1605 MYR after the 7% fee which is around 331 EUR or 380 HBD.
Sure it is more expensive than last years but nowhere near 1500 EUR.
I still need to fly there 😁
I get that, I thought you might have misread the currency
Nope 😁 Just waiting for a miljonair or a huge wail (miljonair) to get me to Malasia and back home 🤣 Or maybe if I win a Lotery, who knows 😉😁
Intercontinental transportation might be a significant factor here ;-)
Its great to see familiar faces in the speaker line-up! (shoutout to @clayboyn and @crimsonclad)! Looking forward to watching you guys remotely. 😘
