Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season. The energy all around is so cheerful in this time. We are all occupied with our family and friends and for time being work takes a back seat. In some parts of the world everything is shut down for these few days, which I kind of like it, because everyone deserves to celebrate. This week for me too it's all about celebrations with my loved ones. Last evening some of us friends met up to celebrate Christmas eve.
Over the years our celebration ways have changed so much. A decade back we would go crazy over deciding a venue for Christmas eve. On the eve we celebrate it with friends and on the Christmas day then it's with family. We would book a table in a pub paying a good hefty amount of money. It was all about music and dancing then, and paying off absurd money. But now we prefer something sober and economical. Also many of my friends have small children now, so going to a pub is not ideal. We would all want to celebrate with families.
Last evening our venue was the gymkhana ground, there is no music and dancing but there is good food, play area for children and everything economical, and the good part is we can sit and talk at ease without having to scream out. When we would go to a pub, first of all there is no place to sit, music is so loud that we cannot talk and food and drinks are super expensive. There was a time when we enjoyed that and found this boring, but now we enjoy the sober environment and find that boring. Seriously, how our whole thought process and ways change over a period of time as we age.
Finally 2 days back I managed to do some Christmas decoration at home. This year every single thing is recycled including the candles. Last year these candles were gifted by someone to my Son and he gave it to me for use at home. They are so lovely that I just do not have the heart to light them up. Their fragrance is beautiful and it's giving such a wonderful feeling in my space. Even after a year the fragrance is retianed.

Once again wishing everyone a joyous holiday season.

This is truly one of my favorite times of the year, the holiday season. The vibe is just different, and the long break from work gives us the chance to really spend quality time with family and friends. It’s the perfect time to slow down and enjoy meaningful get-togethers.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Holidays, family, friends, parties, travelling......this period is all about fun and frolic
Thank you for the wishes and I wish you too a joyous festive season
