Why Epirus DAO?
First things first, I'm Greek, living in Greece and the same goes for all founding members of the project. One thing we all noticed while engaging in the local scene is a huge gap in blockchain education in Greece.
Sure, there are communities forming around Binance, Avalanche, Cardano, and others. But the truth is, most of the people in those communities were already into crypto before those Greek groups even existed. That means they didn’t need much help getting involved in Web3.
But what about normies?!?
People with no tech background? People curious but confused? People who’ve never set up a wallet?
That’s where Epirus DAO comes in ✊
Through local activations like workshops, seminars, events and meetups, and online tools like blogs, newsletters, and consulting, we’re aiming to educate and onboard both citizens and businesses into the world of Web3.

It might sound ambitious, and yeah, it's not easy, but even in our early stages, we’re already seeing momentum. Since launching our website and Litepaper, we’ve gotten great feedback from both Greek degens and Web3 communities!

We’ve got more examples, but these alone show that education and onboarding are indeed needed in the Greek crypto space.

We're not stopping at education. Epirus DAO is also developing a full ecosystem designed to bring real value to both Greek citizens and the broader web3 community.

Why a DAO?
Because every voice matters
Sure, we could’ve just launched a company. It’s not that hard: get a few sponsors, run events, build the brand and make some money. But that’s not the point.
Our motivation is not profit. We’re in it to help regular people step into Web3 with confidence and purpose.
And what better way to do that than by launching a DAO? A DAO structure means transparency, direct community involvement and a sense of contribution and loyalty among its members! True web3 ethos!
