This is the continuation of what I did yesterday and on the photo above are freshly painted recycled carton boxes. They look like ribbons or flags not sure yet what the final look will be as everything is still a work in progress. The idea that I am considering is to write something on these ribbons or flags related to the occasion which is the celebration of Philippine independence day (June 12)
I made different shapes and colors to accommodate what future plans I might consider for these paper cut outs. Here it is supposed to be crimson but the acrylic paint is giving me orange. The streaky paint is intentional because I do not want it to look flat, I want texture and depth.
Just to show you I made these cut outs using scrap materials like cardboard boxes. Maybe these remaining smaller pieces can still be used in my future crafts so I will keep them
I can’t find something to cover the table from possible paint spills so I grabbed this oreo box from last night it will still be useful even if I may spill some paint over it. I guess I will stop now here and I will see what happens tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
