A few days ago, at the age of 48, the band's bassist and co-founder died. The cause of death remains unknown, but from what we know, Sam Rivers was abusing alcohol and had health problems as a result. It's a shame, because like many people of my generation, I listened to their songs. I wasn't a huge fan, but back in the day, I often listened to their songs on Winamp or my MP3 player when I was out and about.

A Black musician was sentenced to four years in prison for two confirmed counts of soliciting prostitution. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to him in prison or after he gets out. He's unlikely to disappear like Epstein, as he seems too poor and too influencing. The guy has seen too much of the entertainment industry in the US. There's a lot of money being spent there and a lot of scandals. It's not so bad when it comes to cases like Weinstein's, or actresses who came to him for a specific purpose (e.g., Emma Watson, several times). It's a private business, so I don't see a problem. They even get children there. I know this from several sources, for example, Roman Polanski's victims. She told me how her mother deliberately brought in actors (who drank, took drugs, and had sex on the side) because... I won't finish, but you probably know what I'm saying. I'll add that this was a fairly common phenomenon among teenage girls back then. Even the much-criticized Justin Bieber is a victim of this industry.

In two years and a few days, we'll get another film from the director of a recent hit. I don't consider this film a groundbreaking discovery, but it was an interesting project. I'm eager to check it out; the director seems like a talented artist who thrives on mixing genres.
