The flowers that sell out most in my state and neighbouring ones are jasmine. There are a lot of varieties, and these are priced according to the smell and demand. For example, the ones that give out a strong scent, like the Arabian jasmine, are pricey. These flowers are in huge demand during the festival seasons and the marriage seasons. There are certain seasons to conduct marriages, and people plan to conduct them during such months. Summer is the season when jasmine flowers bloom very well, and the availability is well for the customer; otherwise, it is hugely priced.

Roses are also a big name in the flower farming field. Red roses are the huge favorite, but yellow and pink ones are also in demand. Roses bloom well, and there is no particular season. Therefore, people who farm flowers grow roses.

Gerbera, orchids, lotuses, lilies, carnations, hydrangeas, sunflowers, and so on are also grown. Gerbera has become the favorite of event managers who decorate the wedding venues with these beautiful, huge flowers.

The drawback of flower farming is the urgency. If the flowers do not arrive on time and are not used before the time limit, they will spoil, and the parties involved will lose money. The farmer is also hit by untimely rains, heat waves,
other weather conditions, and so on. Some farmers make sure to protect the areas from excessive rain and sunlight. The buds should also be protected from bugs, mites, and other small insects. Even tiny ants tend to destroy the bud before it blooms.
