Some time back I had mentioned that in December I will be visiting my hostel where I grew up, it did happen finally after many many years and that moment was quite an experience for me bringing back so many memories of childhood times. I will share that experience and some pictures too at some later point. The other beautiful part of this visit was, also catching up with some of my boarding friends. It was meeting them after 35 years, all of it felt so unreal. I have connection with my school friends but from boarding there are only 2 of them who I am connected with in all these years.

A couple of them who I was very close to, I have been trying to search them on FB and Insta for a long time but I could not find them, then a year back, one of them found me on fb and we connected. The reason I could not find them was because they have changed their names, and after marriage even their surnames have changed so I could not locate them. Thanx to social media these days that we can find people who we were connected with before the social media times and then lost connection with them.

Sweet connections

Time was not enough, we only had one evening but we thoroughly enjoyed. It was all very emotional, talking about how we grew up in that environment which was not very kind to us, but we still did great with all of that. In was non-stop 3 hours of chatter and laughter and where time flew off we did not realize. One of them whose school name was Bini, we were very close and shared all our secrets with each other, meeting her was such a happy moment for me. We laughed at all the silly things we did, I used to like a boy then and I would share all my feeling with her. Well, we did not get married, it was all silly immature things then and now we were only laughing over it.

We also made plans for future, to meet up and have a day or couple of days outing. Let's see how soon we can do that.
