Hello, dear friends of HIVe Food. Every once in a while, my boyfriend and I go out to eat somewhere other than at home. It helps us reconnect and talk about deeper things. This time, we went out again to Carnitazz, a restaurant inside the Ciudad Traki shopping center in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state, where they sell mostly smoked food like grills. However, the first time I went with my boyfriend, I was curious about their menu, which included a fajita dish, and Mexican food is one of my favorites, so when we went, I already knew what I was going to order.

The Mexican fajita combo cost $11.50, and I thought it was small because it said it was for one person only. However, I was surprised when the dish arrived at the table: a large tray with pico de gallo, avocado, yellow cheese (it turned out white), four flour fajitas, sautéed meat and chicken with paprika and onion, and a glass of soda. Everything, without exception, was delicious: the fajitas were super soft, the meat tender and cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were fresh.

Without a doubt, I could go back and order exactly the same thing; I truly loved it. I was so full that I took one of the stuffed fajitas with the sides home to share with my mom. A plate for one person can easily serve two and still be delicious, so I recommend it wholeheartedly. To this day, Carnitazz has been more than just a place to recommend delicious food, and everything I've tried—the cachapas, pinchos, and fried pork—is exquisite. I hope to keep going back and trying their dishes to share the experience with all of you.
