Unfortunately, baseball was played yesterday at Citizens Bank Park, not football. The Phillies really lost by a touchdown and a field goal and my word that was embarrassing. This three game losing streak feels like a six game losing streak at this point! The Phillies have now lost three straight by a total score of 32-12!! Unacceptable!
Luzardo was an utter disaster yesterday, he gave up an incomprehensible 12 runs and couldn't get through four innings. Dude....
The Brewers accumulated 23 hits and for salt in the wound, former Phillie Rhys Hoskins hit TWO homers, driving in six runs. It'd sure be nice to have Rhys still on the roster with Harper being out.
A few Phillies actually performed decently offensively but, it definitely was quite irrelevant unfortunately. Bohm and Marsh homered and Schwarber went three for four.
Goodness gracious man, it's clear the Phillies pitchers are at fault overall lately. It may be because teams are officially warming up and getting into a groove, since we are officially in June. Phillies pitchers are going to have to adjust and lock in more than ever.
Ranger Suárez is on the mound today, hopefully he can break this mini curse Phillies pitchers are currently dealing with.
