I'm up well over 1 unit on the week with 4 more matches to go and hope to maintain the good momentum...

Club Brugge vs Antwerp

This is a tricky match from both sides. Club Brugge even though they should have the quality have yet to show this year that they can dominate a team in the league as they have a hard time breaking down a defense and they usually end up taking the points without any conviction. They had a mid-week match away in Europe where they lost without too much chance. They will have picked up some fatigue and play against Antwerp who might have some kind of shock effect after their coacj was fired. The problem for Antwerp though, wasn't only their coach as their squad isn't the strongest while they alos still face multiple injuries including Janssen & Foulom. They have a new coach with Joseph Oosting who won't be yet on the bench. I pretty much expect more of the same from Antwerp today where they likely will try to hold off Club Brugge luring on counters and signing for a draw if they could. They have a difficult schedule ahead and I expect things to possibly become better at the start of next year the soonest. So 3 options for this match, either the patterns continue and Brugge had a difficult match still winning it in the end, or Brugge puts up a reference performance which they urgently need, or Antwerp experiences a coach change shock effect causing the upset. That last one I see as the least likely and I took small initial positions of 0.16 unit bet on Club Brugge -1.5 @ 2.080 & 0.04 units on Club Brugge Win To Nil @ 2.370 with an eye to possible increase these in-game.

Genk vs OH Leuven

Genk remains a team with lots of potential which hasn't manifested yet but it does seem to be improving a bit especially now with El Ouagdi back. They managed to win from Basel in Europe with a 2-1 score on 0.72-0.62xg. The weekend before they did lose against Mechelen at home with a 0-1 score in a match where the Mechelen goalkeeper kept them alive even though the 0-1 at HT was not undeserved. At the end of the match it felt like it could not last for Mechelen with Genk pushing but the goal didn't come. OHL under their new coach Mazzu started hot and mostly very defensive again scoring every counter at 200%. Last week though, they were put with their feet on the ground with a 1-2 loss where they failed to come back despite trying to go forward. I expect a match where Genk gets all the initiative and OHL just defendes hoping they score on the smallest chances they get again. Especially against Genk who have been a bit vulnerable in defense this is a scenario that would not come as a surprise. If Genk does take the lead, Leuven likely will start taking more risks. I took just 0.042 units on Genk Win & Both To Score @ 3.520. Genk right now are last in the home 1st half standings and I do feel they are due for some regression to the mean as they are a team who always should end in playoff 1. if odds reach 1.80+ on the 1H -0.25 line I might take some on that as I feel it has gotten to the soft side based on previous results. They also should be the team in a much better position to create corners but previously they have shown to keep the ball in the midfield too often instead of fully using the wings. This is one of those matches that feel tricky but might end up very straight forward with a solid performance from the home team while the opponents confirm what they showed so far this season in that it's not good enough. I'm not willing to bet the house on it though.

Anderlecht vs Union SG

Anderlecht has shown in their last match against Club Brugge that they are capable of bringing a lot of drive. The main factor I see in favor for Anderlecht going forward is that they don't have the European Load.Traditionally, top teams that don't have this overperform against their asian handicaps in the league. Genk last season was an example of this with 19.83% ROI and nearly 6 units of profit when backing them blindly on every league match in the regular season against the asian handicap. Anderlecht this season is at +1.18 units of profit good for 14.75% and I can see how they maintain a positve record when the regular season is over. Union had European Load but did manage to win away in Galatasary. In the league they reach quite stable performances without any of them standing out and they have been covering handicaps only at home while on the road they are break even. I do expect a match where Anderlecht is bringing more drive and takes the initiative while Union who have a capable defense let it happen and makes Anderlecht believe they are better only to strike on a counter in a deadly way and try to kill the match afterward. I have to side with Anderlecht after what they showed against Club Brugge combined with the faigue advantage and the fact that Union away has been a lot weaker. I took 0.1 unit on Anderlecht +0.25 @ 1.898, 0.1 unit on Anderlecht 1st Half +0 @ 2.200 & 0.053 units on Anderlecht 1H +0 Corners @ 1.819. I'm also leaning on Anderlecht Team Total Corners Over as they managed to create 6+ in each of their home matches except one so far.

AA Gent vs Sint-Truiden

AA Gent has been in a real form dip after showing sings of sparks mainly with better results some time ago. I still see them as a team with the potential toe easily reach playoff 1 and reach a solid form. They are near complete with Kadri, Kanga, Skoras back in the team only really with Duverne out. Home or away does make a big difference for them as they are 5W-0.5L-1.5P on their home matches against the asian handicap. Stvv has been solid with 2.31 -1.54-2.5-1.45 xg in their last 4 matches while they kept their opponents at 1.41-0.34-0.28-1.58. The low numbers away however came at home. They are quite reliable in their good performance in when they need to push they are able and create chances but don't always finihs while when they are ahead they are capable to just keep things closed without much urge to look for another goal. I can see a match where both teams try to go for it as long as it's a draw and the team that scores crawling back while the opponent has some difficulties to break the defense. In 5 out of 7 away matches, Stvv managed to reach 6+ corners which is something I keep an eye out for. Currently, I'm staying away from this one No Pre-Game Bets
