Hello Hive Open Mic family!
I’m really happy to be back again this week, sharing another song with you all. The theme for Week 297 — Call Me — felt very close to home for me, because music has always been one of the ways I respond when something calls me from inside.

Me alegra mucho estar de vuelta esta semana compartiendo otra canción con ustedes. El tema de la Semana 297 — Call Me —me resonó bastante, porque la música siempre ha sido una de las formas en que respondo cuando algo me llama por dentro

I think a call doesn’t always come as a clear voice. Sometimes it’s just that quiet feeling that says, “Say something. Offer what you have.” And many times, all I really have to offer is a song.

Creo que un llamado no siempre llega como una voz clara. A veces es solo esa sensación tranquila que te dice: “Di algo. Ofrece lo que tienes.” Y muchas veces, lo único que tengo para ofrecer es una canción.

That’s why I chose “Ofrezco mi canción” for this week. It’s simple, honest, and it speaks from a place I connect with — offering what you have, without trying to make it bigger than it is.

Por eso elegí “Ofrezco mi canción” para esta semana. Es una canción sencilla y honesta, que habla desde un lugar con el que me siento muy identificado: ofrecer lo que uno tiene, sin hacerlo más grande de lo que es.

I kept this version acoustic and very straightforward. Just guitar and voice, nothing extra. I wanted it to feel close, like sharing something quietly rather than performing it.

Mantuve esta versión acústica y muy directa. Solo guitarra y voz, sin adornos. Quería que se sintiera cercana, más como compartir algo que como una presentación.

For me, the theme Call Me also means listening — paying attention to what’s asking for space inside us. This song is my small way of answering that.

Para mí, el tema Call Me también tiene que ver con escuchar, con prestar atención a lo que pide espacio dentro de uno. Esta canción es mi pequeña forma de responder a eso.
