Trochę czasu minęło zanim sikorki jadły mi z ręki
I have fed birds from my hand many times, tits, nuthatches, sparrows, but today I managed to record it
Wielokrotnie karmiłem ptaki z ręki, sikorki, kowaliki, wróble ale dzisiaj udało mi się to zarejestrować.
It is not an easy thing, because birds do not come on command, and I will not last long with my hand outstretched.
Nie jest to prosta sprawa, bo ptaki nie przylatują na zawołanie, a ja z wyciągniętą ręka, też za długo nie wytrzymam.
At first I thought that the male great tit was feeding his offspring, and he started to come regularly every few minutes. But after taking a closer look, it turned out that it was a female. She had a much narrower and less outlined black tie on her lower abdomen.
Na początku myślałem, że samiec sikorki bogatki dokarmia swoje potomstwo, i zaczął przylatywać regularnie co kilka minut. Ale po przyjrzeniu się dokładniej okazało się, że to samiczka. Miała zdecydowanie węższy i mniej zarysowany czarny krawat na podbrzuszu.
This allowed me to organize myself and prepare my phone to take pictures. Although they are not perfect, because they are situational photos, they still convey the atmosphere of the place and the events.
To pozwoliło mi na zorganizowanie się, i przygotowanie telefonu do zrobienia ujęć. Co prawda nie są one idealne, bo to zdjęcia sytuacyjne, ale jednak oddają atmosferę miejsce i zdarzenia.
At one point, the female was downright demanding. If I did not prepare nuts for my hand, she would fly around my head, as if she wanted to bombard me. She would sit on my leg, knee, tablet and beg for what was due her.
Samica w pewnym momencie była wręcz roszczeniowa. Jak nie przygotowałem na ręce orzeszków, to latała mi dookoła głowy, jakby chciała mnie zbombardować. Siadała na nodze, kolanie, tablecie i dopraszała się tego co jej się należy.
At times it looked comical, because I thought I had already satisfied her, and I was minding my own business. Then she would sit on a branch right above me and squawk mercilessly, letting me know it was feeding time. What a treat!
Momentami wyglądało to komicznie, bo myślałem, że już ją zaspokoiłem, i zajmowałem się swoimi sprawami. Ona wtedy siadała na gałęzi tuż nade mną i niemiłosiernie skrzeczała, dając mi do zrozumienia, że nadszedł czas karmienia. Ale atrakcja!
Of course she got what she came for. Today the situation repeated itself, but the tit was much calmer, she would sit on my hand and watch me for a few seconds. An extraordinary experience.
Oczywiście dostawała to po co przylatywała. Dzisiaj sytuacja się powtórzyła, ale sikorka była znacznie spokojniejsza, siadała na ręce i przyglądała mi się przez kilkanaście sekund. Niezwykłe doznanie.
