Action Song to Start Our Day and Developing Camaraderie

Hello my dear Hivers from the @family-friends community. How are you all doing? I hope you're all well and safe.

An Energizer is what I usually do first to losen up my learners and prepare them mentally and physically for our lessons. So today, I started our day with an action song about community. I downloaded the video presentation and flashed it on screen.

It is related to our lesson about proper communication and good way of building positive relationship with the people around them. I am glad that everyone willingly participated in the first activity we had.

There is a video presentation in front thru the television so it's not hard for them to easy as it is really made for children this age.

Everyone participated and followed what they saw in the tv. Some also were laughing as they bumped with their classmates while they are dancing. Some were just really focused in dancing it correctly.

More than being an energizer, the action song also developed their camaraderie. Because even if they bumped into each other, they weren't fighting and don't seem to mind it as long as they are enjoying and having fun together.

After about a minute or two the song finished and I saw the smiles in my learners faces. It indicates that they enjoyed our preliminary activity. I then ask them to be properly seated.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!

I like how you started the day with an energizer that not only prepared your learners but also strengthened their camaraderie. Looking forward to more of your inspiring classroom moments.

Thank you! Yes I guess I made the right choice of song for this lesson. It really fits the lesson about individuals and groups being part of a community. Their patience was also tested and it showed they have it. I loved it most because all them participated and enjoyed.

I was once a classroom teacher like you. I taught English to students from pre-school to high school. However, after four years of teaching, I changed career. I've known at first that teaching was not really my calling. I just fulfilled my parents' choice/ambition.
Thank you for being one of our country's role model teachers. I know how hard but fulfilling teaching profession is. 💙

Oh really! What's your new career then? I also felt the same about fulfilling my parents dream for me. However, contrary to you, i have learned to love it eventually. Teaching is tough, but as cliche as it sounds, it's also really fulfilling.
