A Sweet Day with a Slice of Goodness: A Whole Cake from Mommy D's Friend

I've been craving for a slice of cake since last week, yes, aside from pizza, burger, carbonara, halo-halo, ice cream and that lasagna. I already thought of withdrawing my money for the sole purpose of getting a cake but I just chance my mind because I need to prioritize, you know, important things only -avoid getting a "wants" for now and just get what I "need." I'm getting so good controlling myself y'all. So proud of myself. ♪⁠ ⁠\⁠(⁠^⁠ω⁠^⁠\⁠ ⁠)

Anyways, so here's the tea, Mommy D's friends visited her and they have a gift for her. It's not her birthday but when they arrive they said "Happy Birthday." I'm not sure if they were just joking, I only heard them while i'm in the kitchen. I didn't check nor even take a peek to check who they are. I mean, I don't know them so no use checking on them no haha. So yeah, they are carrying a cake from Bread and Butter. And as from what I heard they need something from Mommy D.

She need her signature in something and it's about the house and lot that she sold years ago. I think the person who bought that house and lot decided to sell it to another person. They already got the title of course but I think they didn't get that one paper yet, I forgot what kind of papers it is, it's a paper, that's it. Haha. So they got it after 30 minutes of talking. I am waiting for the visitor to leave so I can check the cake they brought (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ, what a bad me. Lol

I was in the garage while they're talking actually, with our cats. Just looking out for these little naughtiness! Aigoooo. Does your cat climb up in the gate too? Ours are really good at it (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

So back to the cake! Thank you so much to those good friends of Mommy D. My cravings for this cake was finally fulfilled! It's a Black Forest cake, the small ones.

This is the size of the cake i've been thinking of getting last week, but I think this size cost 400+ or almost $7, really expensive for me just to satiate my cravings, lol. Good thing I drop the thought of buying one because look, we received a whole cakey and its FREE!

First thing we did was get all the cherries, because why not? Hahaha. Did you actually wait for the cake to be cut before getting the fruits? Hahaha. That's the first target and next is to cut it. It's five cuts only, Mommy F get the small cut because we're watching her blood sugar, same with mamabels. I get to have a big slice. UwU

Look at that! My favorite part was the icing and the chocolate that was attached on it's body. It's bitter, sweet and really chocolatey. And this time i'm looking for more icing, but it only has enough of it. Looks really good no? It us so good Mommy F finished her slice of cake in a minute. Lol

Whoa, but seriously, the cake appearance is really inviting no? Like, can you resist it? Its a good thing I can't smell it, but for sure it smells really really good. I can't taste it but I savor every bit of it, I enjoyed the sweetness and the texture of the cake, the chocolate and the icing. They just blend perfectly together. It's so good! Huhu. But eating this every day is bad no? Aigoooo.
