Celebrating The Return Of A Family Member In El Salvador Beach Resort ⋆˙⟡

El Salvador Beach Resort will always be the place that we come and go to whenever we have a celebration. Because it's near our place and we had loved their services, plus my cousin was working there before, so sometimes we were treated like a VIP.

What I love the most about El Salvador is that when it's night, there aren't many people in their pool area, so I and my cousins would enjoy having the place on our own. Though, of course, we had to keep quiet because it's one of the hotel's rules and also to respect other guests.

Though before we could enjoy the pool, we had to eat dinner first.

The Hotel's restaurant is really pretty and I love the rustic theme. They even had a band so eating in the restaurant was more enjoyable because the mood of the place is great.

My Aunt went to the restaurant first and ordered a lot for us because the twins, who are the sisters of my cousin's wife, went home here in the Philippines for vacation. And of course as Filipinos, me and my family is always very hospitable, we would always make sure that our guests would feel at home and have fun. But in my case, it's a bit awkward to meet the twins again for the second time because it's been so long since we last saw each other. They had become more mature but were still recognizable for me because they're still very friendly and funny and easy to be with.

While eating dinner me and my family talked about a lot of things, especially about the life of the twins abroad. The twins even asked me so many questions, like if I had a boyfriend or not, and of course I said I don't have fun though they hardly believe me. They also said I had become more lovely and that I appeared more mature than the last time they had seen me.

It's strange to communicate with them, because mostly I needed to speak English so that we could talk clearly, even if they already know how to say a little bit of Bisaya, but better to speak to them in English. They also used to tease me much, claiming I could be hiding a boyfriend since they could not accept I still do not have one. They really do love teasing me just like before.

We also talked about them and how they were. We congratulated one of the twins as well because she just got married to her longtime boyfriend. The boyfriend that she bought when she came home before is now her husband. Their love was really heartwarming and inspirational for me because I could see that their love is still there and it became stronger even though it's been years and they had so many problems that they went through together. Their relationship is really strong, and I adore it.

While they were talking, I had to feed my dog because she's already hungry from playing around the hotel and because I brought her with us since my cousins also brought their dog with them. After eating I had to feed my dog using my hands because she didn't want to eat and I am worried she might get sick, I think it was maybe because she's not comfortable eating in a place she's not familiar with.

We also tried drinking the famous Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, and I was really flabbergasted about its taste. It's really strong, and my throat hurts from drinking twice. So I had to stop when I already had 3 shots. While I can see that the older ones really loved it, and because they're new to it, they got drunk so easily so they had to rest for a while before going home.

While they were resting and talking about so many things that we can't understand, we decided to enjoy the pool.

Before going in the pool, I and my cousins, who are near my age, talked a bit and made TikTok videos for memories.

There weren't any guests in the pool, so we were so excited to have fun.

We then changed into our swimming clothes and hurriedly jump in the pool. Everyone laughed so hard due to my little cousins because they were so cute and hyper though they also made me super nervous about them because they were being so careless, they kept on running and jumping around in the pool, which was dangerous, so I had to stay keep an eye of them.

In spite of all the worries that I had for my cousins because of their behavior, I still ended up really enjoying myself because my little cousins were actually enjoying themselves just running around and playing in the water. I loved to see them laughing and running around without a care in the world. They looked so happy being together as well. They looked so free, like how I used to be before turning adult. So I let them enjoy their time.

After hours of spending time in the pool, it's time to go home. So we bid goodbye to the twins because they will be sleeping in the hotel. We talked and joked around a bit more before leaving. ࣪ ִֶָ☾.

It's really heartwarming to see someone again and feel their presence. It's very different from seeing how their day went through social media. I really wish that they could stay a bit longer, but it can't be helped because their life does not revolve around us. What we can do is just to pray for them.
