¡Nos fuimos a Trujillo! ⛰️ We went to Trujillo! (Esp/Eng)

¡Siempre con las maletas llenas! Este año ha estado lleno de viajes, paseos, lluvia, visitas familiares, muchas caminatas y desconexión con el mundo virtual. Esto último no fue planeado 😅 fue más bien por problemas con los servicios de internet y lo tomamos como un break de todo lo que nos proporcionan los celulares. Fue buenísimo para la vista 😅 para la concentración y para regular los horarios de sueño.

En Portuguesa estuvimos en modo familiar, visitando a mi familia paterna y acompañándolos a soplar las velitas (fiesta y más fiesta) al menos 4 veces comimos torta. En todo este tiempo estuve ausente de Hive porque no había internet, se perdieron de varias recetas y paseos que tuve en familia 😭 y cada vez que salíamos dejábamos los celulares en casa, nos sentimos más ligeros ¡Jeje!

Para finales de julio tocó armar de nuevo la maleta y salir rumbo al Estado Trujillo, esta vez para acompañar a Pedro (hermano de mi esposo) que finalizó su bachillerato, desde febrero teníamos previsto ese viaje, también aprovechamos para dar unos paseos y conversar mucho con la familia de mi esposo. Fue un viaje de 5 horas 🥲 nos quedamos en La Concepción, allí viven mis suegros y justo donde nos dejó el autobús queda el restaurante que ellos tienen, entramos por primera vez y nos recibieron con unas empanadas gigantes de pabellón que estaban ¡Buenísimasss!

Llegó el día de la graduación y no pude ir 😭 desperté con el cuerpo descompuesto, algo así como una gripe de un día, me quedé en casa tomando Alivet y no es por nada, pero esa infusión es como milagrosa. Vi la graduación por WhatsApp 😭. Estas son unas fotitos que tomaron con el teléfono de mi suegro, por supuesto yo hice el collage 🤭.

Más tarde me pasaron buscando para ir a cenar, estuvimos un rato allí comiendo rica comida y tomando unas cervecitas 🤭. Pedro estuvo feliz porque su hermano lo acompañó y bueno el resto de la familia que vive en Lara/Barquisimeto también tenían muchas ganas de estar allí, así que les dijimos que escribieran cartas para dárselas el día de su graduación, estuvieron presentes a través de las palabras de apoyo y felicitación 🎓 😉.

Me di cuenta de lo mucho que los padres de Pedro lo han apoyado durante sus estudios, estaban muy orgullosos de su muchacho. Nosotros también lo apoyamos con consejos y orientándolo un poquito, esa ayuda también es muy necesaria y útil para un recién graduado. Después de la cena Pedro se fue a jugar fútbol 🤭 celebró jugando hasta tarde ¡jeje! Al otro día se fue a ayudar a sus padres en el restaurante 😉 y para el fin de semana le tenían reservada una pequeña sorpresa... Que les contaré luego.

Always with full suitcases! This year has been full of trips, walks, rain, family visits, many walks and disconnection with the virtual world. The latter was not planned 😅 it was more due to problems with internet services and we took it as a break from all that cell phones provide us. It was great for the eyesight 😅 for concentration and to regulate sleep schedules.

In Portuguesa we were in family mode, visiting my paternal family and accompanying them to blow out the candles (party and more party) at least 4 times we ate cake. During all this time I was absent from Hive because there was no internet, they missed several recipes and family outings 😭 and every time we went out we left our cell phones at home, we felt lighter hehe!

By the end of July it was time to pack our suitcase again and go to Trujillo State, this time to accompany Pedro (my husband's brother) who finished his high school, since February we had planned that trip, we also took the opportunity to take a few walks and talk a lot with my husband's family. It was a 5 hour trip 🥲 we stayed in La Concepción, my in-laws live there and right where the bus left us is the restaurant they have, we entered for the first time and we were greeted with some giant empanadas de pabellon that were ¡Buenísimasss! (Tasty).

Graduation day came and I couldn't go 😭 I woke up with a sick body, something like a one-day flu, I stayed at home drinking Alivet (infusion to relieve the flu) and not for nothing, but that infusion is like miraculous. I saw the graduation on WhatsApp 😭. These are some pictures taken with my father-in-law's phone, of course I made the collage 🤭.

Later they came looking for me to go to dinner, we spent some time there eating delicious food and drinking some beers 🤭. Pedro was happy because his brother accompanied him and well the rest of the family that lives in Lara/Barquisimeto were also eager to be there, so we told them to write letters to give them on the day of his graduation, they were present through the words of support and congratulations 🎓 😉.

I noticed how much Pedro's parents have supported him during his studies, they were very proud of their boy. We also supported him with advice and guidance a little bit, that help is also very necessary and useful for a new graduate. After dinner Pedro went to play soccer 🤭 he celebrated playing until late, hehehe! The next day he went to help his parents at the restaurant 😉 and for the weekend they had a little surprise in store for him... Which I will tell you about later.
