Si el invierno te trae dolores de cabeza por el crecimiento del monte en las áreas verdes de tu casa te tengo la solución, hoy te enseño mi proceso y esperó que te ayude a ganar tiempo valioso que puedas invertir en otras cosas diferentes que no sea arrancar el monte. 🥴

Se trata de aplicar en la tierra una solución que le dicen mata monte, o veneno de monte, es un químico que ligado con agua sirve para retrasar el crecimiento de malezas aplicado directamente sobre el monte en crecimiento de hasta 5 cm lo seca pasados 5 días y retrasa su crecimiento.

El producto lo puedes adquirir en cualquier negocio que se dedique a la siembra y donde vendas productos agrícolas, hay muchas marcas algunas más conocidas que otras, pero todas cumplen el mismo fin, la primera vez que lo compré me deje guiar por la marca que me recomendaron una que era la más popular y me costó aproximadamente 20 $ después en mi segunda compra simplemente adquirí uno que también era para acabar con las malezas, por tan solo 7 $ y el efecto es el mismo.

Así que no importa la marca, compra uno que se adapte a tus bolsillos, en la misma etiqueta te dicen la cantidad de producto por litros de agua, yo agrego dos tapas para un tobo de agua, y eso me sirve para regar varios metros de tierra. Luego que esté listo la mezcla quedara un poco jabonosa y se debe aplicar con algo que sirva para riego, existen máquinas especiales para eso, pero yo me las ingenio con un pote vacío previamente lavado y en la tapa le abro agujeros con un clavo caliente y listo, es la regadera perfecta, usó un embudo para llenarlo y guantes para evitar cualquier contacto con la mezcla.

Es importante aplicar la solución con la tierra seca y más relevante aún es que después de su aplicación no llueva por lo menos 6 horas, cada vez que lo uso comenzó a sufrir porque se pone nublado rápido y en dos ocasiones ha llovido a las 3 horas después de aplicarlo; sin embargo, algo le hace al monte porque a los 4 o 5 días comienza a morir, se pone amarillo y se seca. Si en tu patio tiene plantas de algún cultivo no te preocupes que no los dañará de igual forma, evita rociarlo tan cerca, ahora si en tu hogar hay mascotas como perros y gatos, intente dejarlos encerrados por varias horas, unas 6 para evitar un susto mayor, ya que pueden ser alérgicos y se pueden quemar sus patitas.

En las fotos les muestro algunas partes de la casa con monte y tal vez se vea poco, pero créanme eso crece rápido en una semana y el veneno hay que aplicarlo en un monte bajo de unos poco centímetros, el detalle es que sale esta matita que tiene espinas y son las que marco en círculo, esta planta se pega al suelo y se extiende como una red, es imposible arrancarla sin puyarse aunque se usen guantes de construcción y gruesos. Esa planta es como una plaga que se riega y mi perro no puede caminar ni hacer sus necesidades porque se le incrustan en las almohadillas que de paso siempre las tiene inflamadas, esta es una de tantas razones por las que no le doy tregua al monte 😆.

It is about applying a solution called mata monte, or bush poison, to the soil. It is a chemical that when applied directly on the growing bush of up to 5 cm, it dries it after 5 days and delays its growth.

The product can be purchased at any business that is dedicated to planting and where you sell agricultural products, there are many brands some better known than others, but all serve the same purpose, the first time I bought it I let myself be guided by the brand that was recommended to me one that was the most popular and cost me about $ 20 then on my second purchase simply acquired one that was also to kill weeds, for only $ 7 and the effect is the same.

So no matter the brand, buy one that fits your pockets, on the same label they tell you the amount of product per liters of water, I add two caps for a bucket of water, and that serves me to water several meters of land. After it is ready the mixture will be a little soapy and should be applied with something that serves for irrigation, there are special machines for that, but I manage with an empty pot previously washed and in the lid I open holes with a hot nail and ready, it is the perfect watering can, I use a funnel to fill it and gloves to avoid any contact with the mixture.

It is important to apply the solution with dry soil and even more relevant is that after its application it does not rain for at least 6 hours, every time I use it began to suffer because it gets cloudy fast and on two occasions it has rained 3 hours after applying it; however, it does something to the bush because after 4 or 5 days it begins to die, it turns yellow and dries. If you have any crop plants in your yard don't worry, it will not damage them in the same way, avoid spraying it so close, now if you have pets like dogs and cats in your home, try to leave them locked up for several hours, about 6 to avoid a major scare, as they can be allergic and their paws can be burned.

In the photos I show you some parts of the house with bush and maybe it looks little, but believe me it grows fast in a week and the poison must be applied in a low bush of a few centimeters, the detail is that this little plant comes out that has thorns and they are the ones that I mark in a circle, this plant sticks to the ground and extends like a net, it is impossible to pull it out without getting hurt even if you use thick construction gloves. That plant is like a watering pest and my dog can't walk or relieve himself because it gets embedded in his pads which by the way he always has them inflamed, this is one of many reasons why I don't give the bush a break 😆.
