Hi Hive!

Hello Hive friends!. I am very excited to make my first post, my introductory post. My name is Douglas Daniel, I am from Maracay, Venezuela, I am 29 years old, I am a Capricorn♑, and I live in the city of Caracas. I learned about Hive from my best friend, and I am excited about the concept of this network.

Hola amigos de Hive!!! Estoy muy emocionado de hacer mi primera publicación, mi post de presentación. Mi nombre es Douglas Daniel, soy de Maracay, Venezuela, tengo 29 años de edad, soy del signo capricornio♑ y resido en la ciudad de Caracas. Conocí Hive por mi mejor amigo y me entusiasma el concepto de ésta red.

My occupation is to be a singer in the Simón Bolívar National Choir 🇻🇪, the most important choir in my country. I studied opera singing for four years at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory, I have had several opportunities to sing as a soloist, and for the past year I have been experimenting with popular singing, especially boleros. I have a bachelor's degree in Comprehensive Education and a certification as a Weight Room Instructor.

Mi ocupación es ser cantante en la Coral Nacional Simón Bolívar 🇻🇪, el coro mas importante de mi país, estudié 4 años de canto lírico en el conservatorio Simón Bolívar, he tenido varias oportunidades de cantar como solista y desde hace un año estoy experimentando con el canto popular, especialmente los boleros, tengo una licenciatura en Educación Integral y una certificación como Monitor de Sala de Musculación.

From a very early age, I showed an interest and talent for drawing and crafts, as well as cooking, a hobby cultivated by my father and learned largely on my own through study and experimentation. All these activities make me feel very comfortable, and sometimes I forget everything else while I am cooking or drawing.

Desde muy temprana edad mostré mi interés y habilidades para el dibujo y las manualidades, así como para la cocina cuya afición fue cultivada por mi padre y mucho aprendido por mi cuenta, estudiando y por experimentación. Con todas éstas actividades logro sentirme muy a gusto y a veces me olvido de todo mientras cocino o mientras dibujo.

Although I am a musician, educator, and coach, I don't let myself be defined by any of that. I believe that I am simply myself, and that every day I am learning, experimenting, and changing, striving to improve for my own good and for the good of those around me. I like philosophy, esotericism, psychology, poetry, reading, art in general, and sports. I have practiced boxing, I practice yoga, I go to the gym every day, and I hike very frequently. I generally encourage my friends to live a healthier life, since daily exercise and a good diet are vital to maintaining good health. I am often the person who abstains most from certain excesses, and that is because I focus on maintaining my discipline in whatever situation I find myself in. Many of you here at Hive probably already know my friend Jesús. He is one of the people I give the most advice to, and in fact, it is a mutual thing, as he also gives me a lot of support in some aspects of my life. By the way, I recorded the video for this post while hiking with some friends on El Ávila mountain.

Aunque soy músico, educador y entrenador creo que no me dejo definir por nada de eso, creo que sólo soy yo y que día a día voy aprendiendo, experimentando y cambiando, viendo como norte mejorar por mi bien y por el de quienes me rodean. Me gusta la filosofía, el esoterismo, la psicología, la poesía, la lectura, el arte en general y los deportes; he practicado boxeo, practico yoga, voy diariamente al gimnasio y practico muy frecuentemente el senderismo. Generalmente impulso a mis amistades a que vivan una vida más sana, ya que entrenar día a día y una buena alimentación es vital para conservar la salud; en muchas ocasiones suelo ser la persona que más se abstiene de ciertos excesos, y es porque me enfoco en mantener mi disciplina en cualquier escenario en que me encuentre. A mi amigo Jesús muchos ya deben conocerlo aquí en Hive, él es una de las personas a quien más aconsejo, y de hecho es una acción mutua, ya que él también me brinda mucho apoyo en algunos aspectos de mi vida Por cierto el video de éste post lo grabé mientras hacia senderismo con unos amigos en el cerro el Ávila.

I believe that love is what gives meaning to all existence. There are three universal principles, three principles that sustain the universe, and they are: Strength, Beauty, and Wisdom. Therefore, where there is love, there is strength, beauty, and wisdom. I will surely talk about these principles later on. I believe in God and in energy, for we are energy and we share divinity with the primordial principle, with the first cause of all things.

Creo que el amor es lo que le da sentido a toda la existencia, existen tres principios universales, tres principios que sostienen el universo y son; La Fuerza, La Belleza y La Sabiduría, por tanto donde hay amor; hay fuerza, hay belleza y y hay sabiduría, seguramente hablaré de estos principios mas adelante. Creo en Dios y en la energía, pues somos energía y compartimos la divinidad con el principio primigenio, con la causa primera de todas las cosas.

I hope to grow within Hive, learn as much as possible from everyone here, and share content and experiences. I would also like to be useful to the community and its users, and I would like to create genuine connections with new friends. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope to see you again soon! 😉
