Memory that always brings smile to my face.

One of the day that still make me smile is my brother wedding day, because it's a day we are all expecting especially for my mum and the whole family at large. He take him some years before he can find a job, he is of age but because he is still not financially stable. He took him time before he can finally settled down.

I was so happy when he finally brought a fiancee December 2023, we are all very happy to see our wife. 2024 the planning of the wedding begin. We went to the wife family town for the introduction between family. The family of the bride was so happy to meet us, We thought the introduction will just be a small one but when we get there, we see people already sitting down and the small hall well decorated.

The Mc of the day start by praying, praise and worship, introduction of the two families and the cutting of the cake. After two months of the introduction the date of the wedding was set. Then the planning of the wedding begin, from clothes, to hall, to decoration, food and the cake. I and my siblings was so happy because that was the first wedding for my mummy and our firstborn. You know that feeling of being the groom siblings.

We are already planning the type of gift we will share and all. One of the things that still make me smile when I remember or see the picture was that I was the one that make the wedding cake and that was my first wedding cake after I started baking, so it make very happy.

I was happy when the wife chatted me up and say, you will do our wedding cake. We talk about the price and my brother pay. I was also happy because he didn't say after all I am your brother and your family so it should be free or you should give me discounts.

Fast forward to the day October 2024, we travel down to the town with some family members and friends on Friday because the court wedding is on Friday while the remaining family and friends that want to share with our joy arrive on Saturday for the main wedding.

When we got to the venue on Saturday, the bouncer was preventing us from entering but because they saw that I and my younger sister carry cake, they allow us in while the other family members was outside. Thank God for my younger sister, she was one of the RSVP written in the invitation card, she was the one that talk to the bouncer before they allow them in.

As the baker of the day, I set my cake and it's was looking beautiful, I am proud of myself. Anytime I still scroll and see the picture on my gallery, I always smile because if some customers have not seen you do wedding cake before, they won't trust the vendor.

After I begin to post the picture, I have collect about two wedding cake because they see the picture and they see that is my work. My brother is now happily married, I pray his home will stand forever in Jesus name and God will bless his home. Knowing is now married and seeing my cake picture as the baker of the day always put smile on my face.
