It has been one year since the July Movement and the coordinators of the July Movement are touring the country.The Bangladesh Awami League was in power from 2008 to July 2024 and Sheikh Hasina was the Prime Minister.Many controversial activities of the Sheikh Hasina government continued to spread, so in early July last year, the country's student community formed a movement to reform quotas.
I also agreed with their movement.Initially, the student community had only one demand, but the government did not accept the demands and instead started taking action against the students.By mid-July, the movement had spread across the country and taken on a terrifying form.In the capital, Dhaka, 70 to 100 deaths were reported every day.Those days were very scary.Those were very scary days and the government had shut down the internet.Upon hearing the news of the death, the student community became even more agitated and demanded the government's resignation.
Then, at the cost of much blood and lives, the government was forced to resign on August 5th and the Prime Minister fled the country.The day after his resignation, an interim government took office and has been in place ever since.The July Movement ended on August 5.The main coordinators of the movement then formed a political party called the National Citizens Party.The young fighters of the July Movement want to form a political party, participate in the elections and take charge of running the country.
So this new political party has started touring the country and I support them.They are preparing for the next national elections.I think the warriors should be given a chance this July and I have high hopes for the youth.Young people should be given a chance to run the country.I am also supporting them.
I participated in their march today and they held a meeting.I was present at their rally and recorded a video of this important meeting.So today I have brought this video here because it is an important one for the people of the country.This new political party has started touring every district.
