Wrong Airtime Purchase.

Huhm, January has done something o, seriously it might look small, but as at when it happened it was all I had.

Well, it happened that I and my network providers are in a kind o relationship, a long term one I must say. When I say relationship, I meant I'm owing them. I'm owing both Airtel and MTN network providers. So, I've been paying and borrowing and that was how I've been going, but sometimes last year, MTN changed hands, they refuse to borrow me when I pay part of my loan. That was unfair, I tried it like thrice and it was obvious they wanted me to pay everything I owe before being able to borrow again. And that was how I switched to Airtel, I was owing them too o, but they became my favorite, they kept borrowing me when I repay part of my loan.

Airtel is like that softhearted friend that you can leave for a while then go back to later and won't feel bad or angry at you for leaving them before. So, I've been borrowing and paying part and borrowing and paying part. So, less than two weeks ago, I opened my opay to buy airtime as I needed to buy data, I forgot to check the network provider I bought airtime to last, I had forgotten it was MTN I repaid a part of their loan so it will at least be reducing. I didn't double check before using the whole 3k in my account to buy airtime.

Immediately, I minimized so I could dial a code and borrow, when they didn't give me any offer, I was surprised, it didn't show I had paid part of the loan too, it was then I checked my second (small) phone and found out I had bought for MTN instead of Airtel. Funniest part is, I was owing MTN a little above 3k, so the mistake has helped me cleared 3k, but MTN still refused to borrow me, what was remaining in my loan was less than #200 o still, they didn't borrow me, they insisted I just clear my debt.

I was so angry, devastated and confused. The money I used in getting airtime was all I had on me. No data, no airtime, no nothing 🤦. There's no way I can borrow, there's no way I can call, reach out to people or message anyone. Omo, enh, I don't who maybe it's Airtel,. MTN or myself that did this to me. I was just staring at my phone and it stared at me back. And there are a lot of things I have to do, I even have a deadline to meet up with online.

I did the right thing by paying my debt, but it was a mistake and I did it at the wrong time. So, that was my first debt repayment, first airtime purchase and first data gone wrong I had this year.
