I love conifers: bushes, trees. I like their smell. The smell of a Christmas tree is the smell of the New Year, because it is customary for us to put a Christmas tree in our homes for the New Year. Its smell spreads throughout the house. It is a pleasant aroma. And then there is the smell of mandarins. We buy a lot of mandarins in winter. Mandarins are delicious with champagne. We drink champagne on New Year's Eve, when the clock strikes midnight.
I also like coniferous trees because they are always green, no matter what time of year it is. When other trees have shed their leaves, the needles remain green. They have green needles. I have a thuja and two pine trees growing at home. I like them. They decorate the yard in winter.
