Saludos a esta gran comunidad de fanáticos de la música. Espero que cada uno esté muy bien de salud, que sus familiares se encuentren bien, cada uno progresando en la dirección adecuada con la finalidad de alcanzar sus sueños. Ya estamos en la Semana 144, Ronda #3 del "HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL" me encuentro muy feliz de estar acá nuevamente, conpartiendo con grandes talentos! Mas allá de la competencia, cada ronda ofrece un espacio invaluable para que los artistas desplieguen sus habilidades, expresen sus verdades a través de la música y forjen una conexión inolvidable con el público, éste concurso es una plataforma para la dedicación y el talento. En esta oportunidad opté por este tema "El Calvario" (Grupo Sexteto Juventud). ya que me trae recuerdos de mi infancia y actualmente considero, y me siento identificada con la letra porque pienso, que en cuestión de amores, uno debe darse una oportunidad y olvidar las relaciones tóxicas! Porque todos tenemos derecho de ser felices.

This time, I chose this song, "El Calvario" (Grupo Sexteto Juventud), because it brings back memories of my childhood, and I currently consider, and I identify with, the lyrics because I think that, in matters of love, one should give oneself a chance and forget about toxic relationships! Because we all have the right to be happy.

El 13 de mayo de 1962, Día de las Madres, se funda el Conjunto Rítmico Juventud, el cual al poco tiempo cambia su nombre a Sexteto Juventud. Su conformación era Olinto Medina, fundador, director y bajista; Juan Medina, en la guitarra; Arturo López como vocalista; Elio Pacheco, tumbadoras; Carlos Cróquer, batería; Isaías, bongó. En 1963, Pacheco decide abandonar al grupo pero antes le recomendó a Olinto al bongocero Carlos Quintana, “Tabaco”, a la postre voz oficial del grupo que alcanzó grandes éxitos.
