Ocean is vast and also pretty interesting when you start to study small organisms that live in it. Like some of the organisms show real variety of changes in colors, food habits and their impact on the ocean. This post you can use to teach kids how the nudibranchs creatures in ocean are and how they live in the ocean habitat.
Let's first start to define how they look and what they eat and process first. Then we can go ahead and cover the facts related to them. You can take a look at their image below to get an idea.

Think of the nudibranchs as sea slugs, also you can think of them like marine mollucs without any form of shell. And they are around with 3000 different species out there. Different colors, shape, their own severity in the ocean.
So now let's talk about their facts.
Hermaphrodite Nature
You may notice that the nudibranchs are having both male and female organs. And so they are available like this in entire world. So they are officially hermaphrodites. They can be easily identified with the horns like snails and the gills like feather.
Where you can find them?
You can literally find them everywhere around the world. Some of the shallow waters is where they usually are but as the pollution is increasing they seem to have moved a bit ahead. Some of the deformities are also found in them in polluted waters.
Eat everything?
In a way they eat everything around as they are carnuvore and usually stay in isolated places but if they are near reed they get to eat everything. And they seem to be doing pretty well off with the sponges, fish eggs other creature eggs within safe spaces.
A lot of interesting observation can be made about the breeding of these creatures. But depending on the class we have to adjust that information for intermediate and higher classes. It's an interesting creature to discuss in fact while researching it for post I loved the details out there.
Ocean has some of the interesting creatures and we have yet to explore a lot of things in there. Some of the easy to observe areas have such creatures like Nudibranch. And they are worth teaching in the zoology class of the school or colleges.
