In what was supposed to be a brutal survival drama featuring wicked adults fighting desperately for their lives, the sudden appearance of a newborn completely sent the story's charm into outer space.
It felt rushed just for quick success (money), and despite having star actors, their inconsistent characters made it hard to stay immersed.
In many ways, it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

I also did not like the appearance of the child in this drama. After the child's arrival, the whole story started getting messed up and its original essence faded away.
Nice to hear you felt the same way. It's quite common for later seasons to feel less engaging compared to earlier ones, but it's still disappointing nonetheless.
I feel that generally this problem of less engagement occurs from the third and fourth seasons, in this series especially this problem occurred due to the child's twist, otherwise the beginning was quite good.
Totally feel you on that. The shift in tone with the newborn felt super forced, like they were trying to manufacture emotional depth instead of letting it build naturally.
Exactly! It felt unnatural and kind of broke the flow for me too.
Lol....Got that
Have a lovely weekend friend 🌹❤️
Lol and here I was thinking, having the baby replace her mum was a perfect idea to drive some senses into those masterminds of the games.
But I get your point though, it's supposed to be an adult thing, it could have had another end if they focused on that fact all through.
Haha true, I get where you’re coming from — it could have worked as a twist. But yeah, staying true to the adult tone might’ve made for a more solid ending.
That's true, nice reading from you!
And thanks for the support 🙌
Unfortunately it was a heavily criticized season
Yeah, I noticed that too. It had potential, but some choices just didn’t land well with the audience.
I'm watching it right now, and she just gave birth. I loved the first season, not so much the second. This one feels a bit repetitive, a little too gory, and sometimes it doesn't make much sense to me. As for the newborn, well, I find it really exaggerated.
But I haven’t finished watching it yet.
Totally agree! First season was great, but this one feels over the top, especially with the baby part.
yea.. just a cash cow spectacle. not like season 1. but i gotrta watch now! 🙂😎👊
Yeah, totally — it’s nowhere near season 1, but once you start, you kinda have to see it through! Let me know what you think when you’re done.
Right! 🙂😉😎👊
I heard a lot of critics about this last season and specially the end, but I didn't find it that bad, it still sent a strong message.
I read that the writer had an alternative ending, and he tells a bit about it. But there is no way to have a happy end for this series right?
Yes — the ending wasn’t perfect, but the message still hit hard. And totally agree, a happy ending just wouldn’t fit the tone of the series.
I thought the second season was bad enough, and now you're saying the third season is even worse. I wish they had spent a little more time on the script and come up with something at least better than the second season. I don't know whether to watch it or not.

I haven’t seen the third season which I might today but this review is making me scared in a way
Should I just watch it or not
Just watch it. But they are right though. I didn't notice it because the forced emotion totally worked on me 😂😂
hehehehe, I am sure you enjoyed it too
😂😂 yh, I actually enjoyed it. Even though it had a sad end.
😆🤭🤭
I haven't seen SQUID GAME, despite all the hype surrounding it. However it's bound to be like that. I mean season one was a massive success and the money was good, obviously the creators had to leverage on that hype to actually make a season 2. It should have ended there, but it didn't. I'm hearing a lot of people saying that the season 3 was bad.
oh wow, I just watched the episode where she has the baby.. it was pretty intense! I liked the son/mother part.. that was a real shocker. I take back what I said before. This new season is getting good. I'm still watching, so we'll see.. 😉🙂👊
I wasn't a big fan of this season, but the baby actually makes sense. Squid Game is a test of nearly all humanity elements: might, intellect, team work, and most of all basic humanity with compassion.
After the contestants had been tested (and failed) in every way possible, all that was left were the most sensitive situations. Seniors, family members, a pregnant woman, and then a baby. Not just a baby, a newborn baby who just lost both parents.
Frankly, I only truly loved season one, but season 3 made sense to me.
I need to give squid game a try. Seen screenshots but never watched before.
