The New Gifts I got from my Brother #247 LOH

Greetings members of the Ladies of Hive family. How are you doing? It's been a while, I'm grateful because I'm part of this week's prompt.

This week I'm asked to write about anything I've purchased recently or a gift I've gotten from someone. Well, I must say that this topic came at the right time.

So I have a lot to share with everyone eager to listen to what I have to say. For the past week, I've been the happiest person in my house.

It's not because I love being happy, but because I got surprised gifts from my elder brother, and you'll know what that means.

For the past month, I've been having issues with my shoes. All my shoes decided to spoil at the same time. I tried my best to repair them. But I just discovered that each time I repair those shoes, they end up giving me wounds on my legs.

It was so severe that I couldn't work properly. But come to think of it, I was the one wearing those shoes right from the onset, but why is it that they turned out to harm me when I decided to repair them?

To me, it was so strange, because I've never witnessed that before in my life. At one point, I was so annoyed. I didn't know the Lord was still thinking about me in another way.

And on the other hand, I didn't know my brother was also thinking about me. So one morning when I woke up, my brother called me and he asked me if I knew anyone who sells shoes, and I said yes.

He asked me to go to the person and find out the prices of those shoes, and I did. When I returned to the house, I told him and he went and purchased three palm slippers for me.

When he came back to the house, he called me and I responded. When I went inside, he told me he had purchased new palm slippers for me. At first, I thought it was a prank, so I didn't believe him.

I needed to see things for myself. Immediately I told him it was a prank, he went inside his room and brought out those shoes, and I jumped up and started shouting.

I was so surprised because I didn't expect new slippers at that time. I was thinking of how I will raise money to get new palm slippers for myself.

I thanked him for being a loving and caring brother. Because it takes someone with a heart of gold to do that. I've noticed recently that most brothers and sisters do not care for their siblings, but mine is an exception.

He's always there to help me out. He has always proven to be a very good brother, and I appreciate him.
