Sometimes I get together with my friends to watch a movie but it has happened to us that it takes us a thousand years to choose the movie and we spend our time on this, and as I usually write about movies I am the one designated by my friends to choose what we will see to save us that little problem of being in control deciding what we are going to see. The key is to feel out a bit how my friends have been feeling because sometimes you think they want to see a fresh romantic comedy as I call it, but they really need something with a little more substance so we can all talk about our experiences, of course I also take into account if they have already seen the movie or if any of them don't like any genre, at least one of them doesn't watch horror movies and I respect that, so I don't include that kind of movies in the list.

A veces me reúno con mis amigas para ver una película pero nos ha pasado que tardamos mil años en elegir la peli y se nos va el tiempo en esto, y como yo normalmente escribo sobre películas soy la designada por mis amigas para escoger lo que veremos para ahorrarnos ese problemita de estar con el control decidiendo que vamos a ver. Entonces he tenido que aprender a pensar que queremos ver y lo hago dependiendo del humor que tengamos, si queremos algo que nos haga reír o si queremos algo más cursi para llorar o no queremos pensar en nada solo relajarnos y ver una película con una trama sencilla. Lo bueno de estas películas que veo con mis amigas es que no tienen por qué ser una obra maestra ni haber tenido que ganar un Oscar, sólo tienen que crear el ambiente adecuado para disfrutar el rato y hasta hablar al final algo sobre las relaciones o la vida en general. Me he dado cuenta de que las mejores películas para una noche de chicas tienden a estar dentro de unas pocas categorías que funcionan siempre bien, y ya he aprendido a escoger buenas opciones que rara vez decepcionan, modestia aparte jejeje. La clave está en tantear un poco como se han sentido mis amigas porque a veces crees que quieren ver una comedia romántica fresca como le llamo yo, pero realmente necesitan algo con un poco más de sustancia que así todas podamos hablar de nuestras experiencias, claro también tomo en cuenta si ya han visto la película o si a alguna no le gusta algún género, por lo menos hay una que no ve películas de terror y eso yo se lo respeto, así que no incluyo ese tipo de pelis en la lista.

Crazy, Stupid, Love is also good, ok I feel that now they don't make movies as good as they used to, well in this movie there are many stories that connect, plus you can see Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell for me is a good combination for any girls night out, this movie shows divorce, new relationships and family in a way that seems real but not depressing and there are many moments to die laughing and also talk about the serious issues at the end. The Holiday is another one I like, here two women move house and end up finding love in unexpected places and it's with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. For me all of these movies work because there is romance and you don't feel like you are watching something unrealistic or manipulative. I almost forgot one that I love Postdata I Love You, it's a movie with a love story that makes you cry plus the main character is Gerard Butler from 300, that's another good option but it's not in this category hehehe.

En las comedias románticas hemos visto The Proposal con Sandra Bullock y Ryan Reynolds, si ya sé que es viejísima pero tiene el equilibrio perfecto entre humor y romance sin ser demasiado cursi o predecible, además los protagonistas tienen mucha química y hay momnetos divertidos y que te enganchan, otra buena recomendación es How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days esta creo que es más vieja jejeje y la he visto con mis amigas y por mi parte la he visto como unas diezx veces, no te miento nunca me aburre. Crazy, Stupid, Love también es buena, vale siento que ahora no hacen películas tan buenas como las de antes, bueno en esta película hay muchas historias que se conectan, además que puedes ver a Ryan Gosling y a Steve Carell para mí es una buena combinación para cualquier noche de chicas, esta película muestra el divorcio, las nuevas relaciones y la familia de una forma que parece real pero no deprime y hay muchos momentos para morirse de la risa y también hablar de los temas serios al final. The Holiday es otra de las que me gusta, aqui dos mujeres cambian de casa y acaban encontrando el amor en lugares inesperados es con Kate Winslet y Cameron Diaz. Para mí todas estas películas funcionan porque hay romance y no te sientes como si estuvieras viendo algo poco realista o manipulador. Casi me olvido de una que me encanta Postdata I Love You, es una película con una historia de amor que te hace llorar además el protagonista es Gerard Butler el mismo de 300, esa es otra buena opción pero no está en esta categoría jejeje.

Sometimes we like to see something more than entertainment and I do like to see bloody action movies hehehe but my friends don't so much so I always choose something that is not as strong as Ocean's 8 because it is a heist movie and full of women that you can tell they had a great time making the movie, I at least love Sandra Bullock I have always liked her energy, well they plan to steal a necklace during the Met Gala to see them carry out this plan while they all look stunning is very funny. I couldn't leave out Charlie's Angels from 2019 and The Spy Who Dumped Me which combines action and comedy when two best friends get caught up in an international conspiracy has many moments of laughs, friendship and lots of chase and fight scenes. I like these movies because you don't need to analyze a lot just have fun and don't worry about heavy themes or tragic endings, I'm not going to make you watch Inception on a girls night out hehehehe. Ahora si quieres meterle más drama pero que siga siendo entretenido, hay películas como Mamma Mia que combina el drama familiar con números musicales y un bonito escenario en una isla griega, además Meryl Streep hace muy bien ese papel de madre de espíritu libre con un pasado misterioso, otra es Little Miss Sunshine, también trata sobre una familia y tiene momentos muy emotivos y humor. A veces nos gusta ver algo más que entretenimiento y a mí sí me gusta ver películas de acción sangrientas jejeje pero a mis amigas no tanto así que siempre escojo algo que no sea tan fuerte como Ocean's 8 porque es una peli de atracos y llena de mujeres que se nota que se lo pasaron en grande haciendo la película, a mí por lo menos me encanta Sandra Bullock siempre me ha gustado su energía, bueno planean robar un collar durante la Gala del Met verlas llevar a cabo este plan mientras todas lucen despampanantes es muy gracioso. No podía dejar por fuera a Charlie's Angels de 2019 y The Spy Who Dumped Me que combina acción y comedia cuando dos mejores amigas se ven envueltas en una conspiración internacional tiene muchos momentos de risas, de amistad y muchas escenas de persecución y de pelea. Estas películas me gustan porque no se necesita analizar muchos solo hay que divertirse y no preocuparse por temas pesados o finales trágicos, no te voy a poner a ver Inception en una noche de chicas jejeje. Como les dije las películas de terror no están en mi lista porque a una de mis amigas no le gustan, pero puedo decirte algunas opciones como Scream, Happy Death Day y The Final Girls, no son películas fuertes son más bien un dark comedy.
