I'm Struggling Here
When Blogging I'm foreign to the formatting. My "laptop" feels weak compared to the double screen set up, ergonomic keyboard, stand up desk (or footstool if needed), set up I have at work.
But its more than that.
The systems have moved on without me. I don't know how to do stuff that used to be second nature. I can't even un-delegate and get use of my HP. I know I'll figure it out, and I know it'll come again, but it sure as heck is not intuitive.
I don't quite remember the rules. How do thread-casts work again? Am I supposed to be buying premium? And why the heck is task always uploading randomness?
And. Getting the money in and out of my bank account is still a challenge.
Talk as much shit as we want about fiat, but you can spend it by sticking your face in your phone, and the hovering your phone over a box, or waving a card next to some light, or just stopping by the ATM to get some cash.
Until it becomes as easy to put money in my hive account as it is to put money in my teenagers hand, then crypto will not be widely used.
It will continue be a store of value, a special bank account, an investment, sure. But not the next money source, not the next economy, not until its easy and we are far from it.
I'm still proud of my account and I'm still here for the building part of the market, but I'm done fooling myself that anytime soon, I'll be able to pay for my milk with HBD, blog about my milk and brag about how I bought with crypto, and then wait seven days to have enough earnings to buy yet another gallon of milk.
2018 me was surely naive.

That's wise. Also understand the challenges of technology: I have three devices and each of them is good for different aspects of working with HIVE.
Getting money in and out of HIVE is more difficult now than it was eight years ago (no-one cared then, I could do as I pleased) and I keep having to find new ways and work out which offers the most value for money.
I stopped following task long ago, and stopped voting for him recently when it turned out it wasn't that efficient a use of HP. I've always found InLeo hard work and now it seems to be mainly AI bots posting I'm glad I stuck with PeakD although I've also heard good things about Ecency.
I guess it depends what your long term goals are? You had a great idea for using what you had learned with Hive to create your own business?
I'm getting the feel of what the 2025 version of me wants to do on the Blockchain. I'm hopeful it will be something great. A little less castle building, but still a hobby, for fun, that builds on my future.
