Les cuento que no soy una muchacha a la que el maquillaje le apasione mucho, no por ser una pick me ni nada por el estilo, simplemente que mi cara grasa, más el calor característico de mi ciudad y lo lejos que vivo del centro, que para llegar a mis destinos normalmente debo tomar el transporte público, no ayudan mucho a que me guste tener algo con lo que cargar en mi cara más que mi sudor.
Sin embargo desde que empecé a trabajar como promotora con marcas, la buena presencia e invertir en la apariencia se ha vuelto algo con lo que he tenido que lidiar, así que tuve que salir a comprar unas cositas e instruirme un poco más de este mundo.

I should tell you that I'm not a girl who's really into makeup, not because I'm a pick-me or anything like that, but simply because my oily skin, plus the heat in my city and how far I live from downtown, which means I usually have to take public transportation to get where I'm going, don't help me like having anything on my face other than my sweat.
However, since I started working as a brand promoter, looking good and investing in my appearance have become something I've had to deal with, so I had to go out and buy a few things and learn a little more about this world.
Después de acudir a mi poderosa fuente de información (Tiktok) y averiguar un poco sobre marcas nacionales buenas y no tan costosas, pues mi presupuesto tampoco era tanto, me fui a ciertas tiendas de la ciudad donde podía conseguir los productos de la marca venezolana Salomé, que ha tenido buenas reseñas por muchas chicas.
También sugirieron maquillaje de Mundo Total, que también venden productos económicos y de buena calidad, así que pasé primero por allá para ver los precios y la variedad, lo bueno es que aquí hay muestras que puedes probar y demás, pero mi misión era la marca Salomé, para luego venir por acá y probar estos, porque varios me llamaron la atención, como los correctores naranja (soy ojerosa) y sus polvos sueltos.
After turning to my powerful source of information (TikTok) and finding out a little about good, inexpensive national brands, since my budget wasn't that big, I went to certain stores in the city where I could get products from the Venezuelan brand Salomé, which has had good reviews from many girls.
They also suggested makeup from Mundo Total, which also sells inexpensive, good-quality products, so I stopped by there first to check out the prices and variety. The good thing is that they have samples you can try, but my mission was to try the Salomé brand, so I came here to try these, as several products caught my eye, such as the orange concealers (I have dark circles under my eyes) and their loose powders.

Mi misión de este día era comprar un corrector para mis grandes ojeras, un polvo para sellarlo y un lápiz labial, pero lamentablemente para este último no me alcanzó, sin embargo está en mi lista de próximas compras porque quedé encantada con la variedad de colores que tienen, me cuesta escoger uno solo y atinar a un tono que quede bien con mi color de piel.
Por suerte logré conseguir lo que quería, con ayuda de una de las chicas de la tienda, así que estoy confiando en ella, cuando utilice todo les contaré qué tal y espero no haber escogido mal, porque aunque nada costó más de 5$ me duele igual mal gastar.
My mission for the day was to buy a concealer for my dark circles, a powder to set it, and a lipstick, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough money for the latter. However, it's on my list of upcoming purchases because I was delighted with the variety of colors they have. It's challenging for me to choose just one and find a shade that complements my skin tone.
Luckily, I managed to get what I wanted with the help of one of the girls in the store, so I'm trusting her. When I've used everything, I'll let you know how it goes, and I hope I haven't made a bad choice, because even though nothing costs more than $5, it still hurts to waste money.
