Surrogacy is when a woman agrees to carry and give birth for someone else or another couple when the person or couple can't have their own child. I think one should agree to become a surrogate for anyone, you should have the mind to let that child go. When it comes to surrogacy there are some agreements that are signed, the agreement is meant to protect the surrogate mother, the baby and the intended parents.

I have seen cases where a surrogate mother gave birth and refused to let the child go which wasn't part of the agreement. If a woman knows that she can't let a child go then she should agree to become a surrogate mother because she will just cause problems later.

In most cases a surrogate mother is not supposed to have a say in the life of baby because of the agreement that was signed. The intended parents also will not want the surrogate mother to be a part of the life of the child, that's why I said if a woman can't let a baby go after giving the birth to the baby then the person should not consider surrogacy. Although most women do it for money, while some will do it for the money but the moment they give birth to the child they will have a change of heart and that is not meant to be.

I think surrogate mothers should respect the agreement she signed. As long as she wasn't tricked into it, she read it, understood what was written then signed it, she should just respect the agreement and walk away when the child is born.

Surrogacy is not a bad thing as long as it is done right. But it is not for everyone. If a surrogate mother thinks she might not let go off the baby then surrogacy is not for her, because it takes a string mind and understanding between everyone involved.

The best interest of the child should come. If the agreement say the surrogate mother will not be involved then it should stay that way.
