At last!

The other day, my kan, my sister, and my niece went to the World Exposition in Osaka.
先日、オカン、姉、姪の４人で大阪で開催されている万国博覧会へ行ってきました。

In my hometown of Osaka, locals used to have a bit of a bad reputation, so I wasn't super excited about going to the Expo. But when I got tickets from an acquaintance, I thought it would be a fun outing, so I invited my mom and sister to join me. My niece had gone to a fantastic Korean concert at the Expo site the day, and when I suggested we go together, both my mom and sister agreed at the chance!

The venue is really spacious and inviting. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn't feel cramped like Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan Osaka. We could stroll around freely and take in the atmosphere. I had an all-day pass, but since it was getting pretty hot, we decided to head over at 4:00 PM. Once the heat started to fade, it was such a joy to walk along the Roof Ring, and the refreshing breeze from Osaka Bay made it a wonderful memory. I enjoyed it so much that I can't wait to invite more friends to join me for at least a couple more visits!

地元大阪では前評判は非常に悪く、なかなか行く気になれなかったのですが、知り合いからチケットを頂きオカン、姉を誘い一緒に行くことにしました。　姪は昨日開催された韓国のコンサートが万博会場内で開催されていて、わたしが万博に一緒に行こうと言うとオカンも姉もそれだったらいこうかと言ってくれました。

会場は本当に広々としていて、開放感があります。　確かにたくさんの人が来ていますが、ディズニーやUSJのような閉塞感がなく、ひろびろとした空間をゆっくり歩いてみて回れることができます。　わたしは一日券を頂いていたのですが、暑さ対策とオカンが歩くのがこの頃難しくなってきていて、１６時から入場することにしました。　暑さもかなり下がってきた中、大屋根リングの上を歩くととても気分が良く、大阪湾からの風を感じながら歩くととてもよい思い出になりました。　満足感は高く、また、あと２度ぐらいは友人などを誘って一緒に遊びに行けたらなと思っています。
