I think Hive can be a different experience for various people. Some of us may have fixed ideas of what it could/should be, but the platform itself doesn't care about that and we should be wary of chasing away those who we think don't fit.

The wider internet is buzzing with memes and short content rather than blogs. I think we can have both and the various short-form options make that possible. We have options to deal with what we consider over-rewarded, but they need to be used with care. Each person who feels driven out will spread bad vibes about Hive.

I think that a Hive with millions of active users would be a different place, but I wonder if that will ever happen after waiting years for it.
