Earlier yesterday evening, the house turned into a tiny cinema with loud cartoons and louder snack requests. My daughter wanted plantain chips—golden and crunchy. My son, on the other hand, insisted on potato chips, crisp and tasty.
So, I became the evening snack chef, slicing, frying, and flipping between laughter and sizzling oil. The cartoons played on, their eyes glued to the screen while the aroma filled the room.
Finally, it was ready; we all ate with crunchy excitement 😂.
