Crochet Pacha: Haciendo una Diadema o cintillo para hombre || Making a headband or hairband for men

Desde que tejí la Diadema, mi cabeza está mas calientita. Cuando me la pongo siento que estuviese usando un Chullo, jaja. Por eso, también le tejí uno para mí hermano, aunque este tiene ligeras variaciones. ¡Veámos cómo fue esto!.

Since I crocheted the headband, my head feels warmer. When I wear it, I feel like I'm wearing a Chullo, jaja. That's why I also crocheted one for my brother, although this one has slight variations.

Elección de los cololores || Colors selection

Si bien utilicé los mismos colores anteriores, esta vez llevaría más azul que plomo. Por eso, comencé haciendo 2 filas de color azul. Para también finalizar con azul.

Although I used the same colors as before, this time I wanted to use more blue than gray. So, I started by making two rows of blue. I also wanted to finish with blue.

Calculando las distancias para el diseño || Calculating distances for design

Aquí tengo en cuenta el número total de puntos que tiene el cintillo. Luego, lo divido entre el número de repeticiones que quiero y de allí sale el número de espacios (puntos de separación entre las figuras). Por ejemplo: hice 154 cadenas y dividido entre 7 dan 22 repeticiones. De los 7 espacios, 1 es para el punto alto doble y 6 son los espacios a dejar (solo con puntos bajos).

Calculating distances for the design Here, I take into account the total number of stitches in the headband. Then, I divide it by the number of repetitions I want, and that gives me the number of spaces (stitches of separation between the figures). For example: I made 154 chains and divided them by 7, resulting in 22 repeats. Of the 7 spaces, 1 is for the double treble crochet and 6 are the spaces to leave (only with single crochets).

Distribución de colores || Colors distribution

Una vez tienes en claro la distancia entre las figuras, sigue la distribución de colores. Aquí varía según cada fila o cada 2, 3 filas... Recuerdo que en el video tutorial utilizaron 6 colores, es decir cada 6 colores repetían la secuencia.

Once you are certain of the distance between the figures, proceed with the color distribution. Here it varies depending on each row or every 2, 3 rows... I remember that in the video tutorial they used 6 colors, meaning that every 6 colors they repeated the sequence.

Diseño || Design

Como quise que este cintillo se caracterizara por el color azul, hice que llevara 2 filas de azul al inicio y al medio. Supuestamente también iría al final, solo que quedaría algo gruesa, por eso le coloqué 1 fila en azul.

I wanted this headband to be characterized by the color blue, so I made it with two rows of blue at the beginning and in the middle. It would supposedly also go to the end, but it would be a little thick, so I added one row in blue.

Entre textura y color || Between texture and color

Si bien el Punto Apache hace que la textura (tipo relieve formado por los puntos alto doble) vaya hacia una dirección, el intercambio según el número de colores utilizados hace que vaya hacia la dirección opuesta. Haciendo que cada cintillo sea distinto al anterior. Aún me falta probar con más número pares e impares...

When using the Apache stitch, the texture (a raised pattern created by double treble stitches) goes in one direction, but switching based on the number of colors used makes it go in the opposite direction. This makes each band different from the last. I still need to try more even and odd numbers...
