Crochet with me: Making a rose blanket bouquet for the first time. (Part 1)

Hi there everyone it’s me Rhea again, and now I am going to share another new story of mine doing and making a rose blanket bouquet for the first time. By the way this blog will be have part 1 and part 2.

If you remembered my intro blog I did mention that I do simple crochets since I am a beginner and months passed I did a thorough research and studied crochet patterns and I also made some simple crochets like mini rolled cake, jelly fish, strawberry, calachuchi (flower), plumeria flower, and also a small bear and recently I saw a video and it featured a rose blanket bouquet, and it made me think that maybe I should make it for fun. I then looked for a video tutorial on YouTube and saw a tutorial I did watched it first before attempting to make it since I don’t want to have any mistakes while crocheting and then I jot the patterns on my crochet pattern notebook.

And by the way, I give credit to this amazing YouTuber her YouTube channel is Mova DIY thanks to her that I did an amazing job in doing this rose blanket bouquet for the first time cause the way she made it, is so easy to do and she is so good in teaching that is why it was so easy to understand and to learn.

And don’t worry I will provide pattern for this one if you want to crochet like this and I really hope this helps because it’s my first time making this kind of crochet.

So first these are the things that I had used for this project:

IMG_0105.jpeg

So to begin with I used this pearly white color of yarn for the center tho I do not know what size is this since my aunt gave me this yarn.

As you can see in the background I did jot down the pattern for this and I know it’s kind of funny but I did study this pattern. So first I did a magic ring, chained 2 and did a 12 double crochet into the magic ring and then slip stitched the end and this is what it looks like.

IMG_9955.jpeg

Sorry for the yarn being so hairy, but I can assure y’all that this would turned out to be pretty nice.

And for the round 2 this is the pattern that I used, again chain 2, (2 double crochet into one stitch and chain 1) and you’ll do that 12 times and then slip stitch.

IMG_9956.jpeg

For the 3rd round, this will be a little bit confusing because I had difficulty with tutoring something lol. So now again chain 2, (1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in one stitch, chain 1, and skip 1 stitch) and I did that 12 times.

IMG_9957.jpeg

For the 4th round it’s almost as the same as the 3rd round because the only pattern that changes is the pattern after chaining 2 in the first like this chain 2, (2 double crochet, 2 double crochets in one stitch, chain 1, and skip 1 stitch) and again we’ll do that 12 times again.

IMG_9958.jpeg

By the way while I was crocheting this one my order finally arrived, I was so happy that I can finally make different patterns and project for this one, by the way this yarn is a milk yarn.

IMG_0106.jpeg

So anyway for the 5th round and more the pattern will be just the same since as I mentioned earlier that the pattern that only changed is after doing 2 chains like for example for the 6th round it will be like this, 2 chains, (3 double crochet, 2 double crochet into one stitch, chain 1, and skip 1) and again do it for 12 times and in case you’re afraid for forgetting to count just use stitch markers to make sure you’re doing it properly. And for the 6th round it’s 2 chains, (4 double crochet, 2 double crochet into one stitch, chain 1, and skip 1) and again do it for 12 times until it gets bigger and to close and lock the yarn make sure you slip stitch it and chained 1 and cut the yarn.

By the way this is me while doing the 8th round lol. My hands got hurt and tired that’s why I gave it a break.

IMG_9968.jpeg

And until I did round 17 my hands just got tired and I am running out for this kind of yarn that’s why I stopped and proceeded to rest my hands, I also decided it was late and maybe I should make the leaves and the roses tomorrow morning and just rest.

And that’s all for today’s blog everyone, I will make a continuation blog for this one don’t worry, I really hope u like it. Thanks again for reading my blog everyone, have a great night!
