Las técnicas que implementaré hoy son:

Recomendaciones:

Cuando compres un bizcocho de cerámica revisa que no esté pasado de cocción o no esté crudo. Cuando un bizcocho es de buena calidad este es completamente blanco.

Si el bizcocho tiene una coloración rosácea lo más probable es que se pasó de cocción, esto hará que la pintura cueste en cubrir o queden manchas, también podría hacer que el bizcocho fuera más frágil a romperse con cualquier golpe.

Si el biscocho tiene una coloración grisácea lo más probable es que no esté bien cocido, le falta más cocción, esto lo hará muy frágil a roturas, también notarás que es más pesado.

Elije un bizcocho blanco totalmente. Si está poroso, revisa que puedas lijarlo y con ello corregirlo. Siempre es bueno lijar la pieza si no tiene muchos relieves. Este bizcocho no se hizo necesario lijar.

Elije pinturas y pinceles de buena calidad para un mejor acabado.

Proceso:

Aplica la primera capa de pintura base y deja secar, aplica una segunda capa si la pintura no tiene buena cobertura.

Aplica una capa generosa de envejecedor cerezo sobre la pieza y retira con un paño antes que seque. Estos envejecedores son aceitosos, algunos secan más rápido que otro, si es de secado rápido recomiendo trabajar por secciones pero debes tener cuidado no queden parches. Esta pieza es miniatura así que una capa completa bastará.

Recommendations:
When buying a ceramic biscuit, check that it is not overcooked or undercooked. A good quality biscuit is completely white.
If the bisque has a pinkish colour, it is most likely overcooked, which will make it difficult to cover with paint or leave stains. It could also make the bisque more fragile and prone to breaking with any impact.
If the biscuit has a greyish colour, it is most likely undercooked and needs more baking. This will make it very fragile and prone to breakage. You will also notice that it is heavier.
Choose a biscuit that is completely white. If it is porous, check that you can sand it down to correct this. It is always a good idea to sand the piece if it does not have much relief. This biscuit did not need to be sanded.
Choose good quality paints and brushes for a better finish.
Process:
Apply the first coat of base paint and leave to dry. Apply a second coat if the paint does not provide good coverage.
Apply a generous coat of cherry wood ageing agent to the piece and remove with a cloth before it dries. These ageing agents are oily, some dry faster than others. If it is quick-drying, I recommend working in sections, but you must be careful not to leave patches. This piece is miniature, so one full coat will suffice.
