Creating a cute bookmark [ESP/ ENG]

Amando cada día esta idea creativa de dibujar, como una terapia, para relajarnos un poco, mantener la mente ocupada, eso es lo que más me gusta, siento que estoy haciendo algo, asi sea sencillo, no importa, lo que me interesa es buscar algo que hacer, para ir aumentando mis habilidades, con este estilo.

Se me ocurrió crear algo diferente, un marcapáginas, a mano, usando mis marcadores, les muestro como lo hice:

ENGLISH VERSION

I love this creative idea of drawing every day, as a form of therapy, to relax a little, keep my mind occupied. That's what I like most. I feel like I'm doing something, even if it's simple, it doesn't matter. What interests me is finding something to do to improve my skills with this style.

I decided to create something different, a handmade bookmark using my markers. Let me show you how I did it:.

Lo primero que hice fue tomar una cartulina que tenía por allí de reciclaje, la recorte, con una medida de 20x8 cm, seguidamente, con mi lápiz grafito, empecé a trazar algunas formas, buscando inspiración en Pinterest, como siempre, las formas que decidí trazar fueron como estilo de flores.

Ya con esto, pensé que colores usar, para darle un fondo entre curvas, para ello busque mis marcadores, entre un tono verde y naranja, para hacer esta combinación.

ENGLISH VERSION

The first thing I did was take a piece of cardboard I had lying around from recycling, cut it to a size of 20x8 cm, and then, with my graphite pencil, I began to sketch some shapes, looking for inspiration on Pinterest, as always. The shapes I decided to sketch were flower-like.

With that done, I thought about what colors to use to give it a background between the curves. I looked for my markers and chose a green and orange tone to create this combination.

Para el trazado de las flores use el marcador negro, me costó un poco las líneas en las hojas, pero que salió bien, ya con esto, le agregue los colores de fondo, curvados, pensé en hacerlo al revés, por eso ven el círculo, pero luego, preferí seguir trazando las líneas de las flores y las hojas, para tenerlas como base, y saber después donde iba a agregarles el fondo, con los otros marcadores.

To draw the flowers, use the black marker. I had a little trouble with the lines on the leaves, but it turned out well. With that done, I added the background colors, curved ones. I thought about doing it the other way around, which is why you see the circle, but then I decided to continue drawing the lines of the flowers and leaves to use them as a base and know where to add the background later with the other markers.

Ya con esto, quise agregarle una pequeña frase motivadora, esas que me gustan a mí TÚ PUEDES, aplicando como siempre mi lettering, bueno haciendo el intento, jeje, saben que esto es cuestión de mucha práctica, el agarrarle la vuelta a las letras, y todas sus formas.

Le hice un pequeño huequito circular, le coloqué una cinta, y listo, así quedo nuestro lindo marcapáginas, hecho a mano, que les pareció😍

With that done, I wanted to add a little motivational phrase, the kind I like: YOU CAN DO IT, using my lettering as always, well, trying to, hehe, you know it takes a lot of practice to get the hang of the letters and all their shapes.

I made a small circular hole, added a ribbon, and that's it! Here's our cute, handmade bookmark. What do you think? 😍

Sencillo, pero creativo, estoy pensando en hacer unos para regárselos a mis amigos Hivers, algún día cuando nos volvamos a reunir jeje, estos detalles personalizados son más especiales, sin duda, vale la pena, para esas personas que forman parte de nuestra vida, y necesita esa frase motivadora en sus vidas.
