Espero se encuentren todos muy bien, 🥰 el día de hoy les quiero mostrar una pequeña manualidad que hice para preservar el TinyTAN que mi sobrina mi regaló 😍 como es algo muy importante para mí, quise preservarlo en un lugar donde no le cayera polvo pero que al mismo tiempo pudiese quedar a la vista y admirarlo todo el tiempo.

I hope you are all doing well. Today, I want to show you a little craft project I made to preserve the TinyTAN my niece gave me. Since it is very important to me, I wanted to keep it in a place where it would be protected from dust but at the same time where I could see it and admire it all the time.

Hace unos meses había visto en Instagram un vídeo de una chica reciclando la cajita donde viene el TinyTAN y me pareció buena idea así que decidí hacerlo pero forrandola con foami tanto para decorar como para reforzarla porque mi cajita estaba un poco rota de algunos sitios.

A few months ago, I saw a video on Instagram of a girl recycling the box that TinyTAN comes in, and I thought it was a good idea, so I decided to do it, but I covered it with foam both to decorate it and to reinforce it because my box was a little broken in some places.

Algo que se me ocurrió antes de forrar la cajita fue traspasarla a una hoja blanca para sacar el patrón ya que me gustó mucho el tamaño y a veces para regalar dulces o alguna cosita me viene bien tener el patrón de alguna cajita, como les comenté en un post anterior me gustan mucho hacer cajas. 🤭🥰

Something that occurred to me before covering the box was to transfer it onto a white sheet of paper to make a template, as I really liked the size and sometimes, when giving sweets or little gifts, it's handy to have a template for a box. As I mentioned in a previous post, I really enjoy making boxes. 🤭🥰

✨Paso a paso|Step-by-step✨

Lo primero que hice fue abrir la cajita por la parte de atrás donde tienen el empate, con mucho cuidado para que no se rompiera, me convenía que no se rompiera, en realidad tengo otra idea para guardar mi TinyTAN, pero es una idea un poco más elaborada y ahorita no tengo tiempo de llevarla a cabo así que decidí hacerlo de esta manera porque me pareció más sencilla y sí rompía la cajita iba a ser triste para mí.

The first thing I did was open the box at the back where it is tied shut, very carefully so that it wouldn't break. It was in my best interest that it didn't break. Actually, I have another idea for storing my TinyTAN, but it's a bit more elaborate and I don't have time to do it right now, so I decided to do it this way because it seemed easier and if I broke the box, I would be sad.

Luego por la parte de en frente de la caja le abrí una especie de ventana 🪟 se puede decir así, con regla y por la parte de adentro de la caja deje un margen de 2 cm a cada lado y luego con la ayuda de las tijeras la recorte. Este sería el espacio por donde se exhibirá el TinyTAN.

Then, on the front of the box, I opened a kind of window 🪟, so to speak, with a ruler, and on the inside of the box I left a margin of 2 cm on each side and then cut it out with scissors. This would be the space where the TinyTAN would be displayed.

Para forrar la caja, traspase el molde al foami y lo recorte. En este paso siento que falle en dos cosas la primera es que debí cortar el foami por lo menos medio centímetro más de lo que mide la caja para que quedara bien al momento de forrar y no quedarán visibles algunas partes de la caja, no sé si me di a entender y lo otro es que es mejor pegar el foami a caja con pega blanca que con silicón frío.

To cover the box, transfer the template to the foam and cut it out. In this step, I feel like I messed up in two ways. First, I should have cut the foam at least half a centimeter larger than the box so that it would fit properly when covering it and no parts of the box would be visible. I don't know if I'm making myself clear. The other thing is that it's better to glue the foam to the box with white glue than with cold silicone.

Luego recorte una pieza de acetato un poco más grande que el rectángulo que recorte en la caja y lo pegue con silicón caliente, aquí les recomiendo que sean muy generosos con el silicón y le pongan suficiente para que no se despegue.

Then cut a piece of acetate slightly larger than the rectangle you cut out of the box and glue it with hot silicone. Here, I recommend that you be very generous with the silicone and use enough so that it doesn't come off.

El siguiente paso es cerrar la caja, poco a poco siguiendo las líneas de dobles de la misma, con silicón caliente pegue en la parte de atrás que es donde está el empate de la caja, luego la parte de abajo, también la reforce con silicón para que quedara más firme y segura.

The next step is to close the box, slowly following the fold lines. Use hot silicone to glue the back, where the box is joined, and then the bottom. Reinforce it with silicone to make it stronger and more secure.

Antes de cerrar la parte de arriba, introduje la photocard que trae el TinyTAN y luego el TinyTAN por supuesto y por último cerré la caja en la parte de arriba.

Before closing the top, I inserted the photocard that comes with TinyTAN, then TinyTAN itself, of course, and finally closed the box at the top.

Y este fue el resultado, me gustó mucho como quedó, me encantó haberla forrado con foami escarchado morado ya que es el color de BTS, como les dije tengo otra ida para protegerlo del polvo y al mismo exhibirlo que estare desarrollando más adelante Dios mediante.

And this was the result. I really liked how it turned out. I loved covering it with purple glitter foam, since that's the color of BTS. As I mentioned, I have another idea for protecting it from dust while displaying it, which I will develop later, God willing.
